Vital Edge
Vital Edge
Vital Edge renders a subtle 4-edge screen gradient that reflects your armor's durability — no HUD text, no icons, no new items. Just ambient color at the edges of your screen.
How it works
The overlay color shifts based on your equipped armor's aggregate durability:
| Durability | Color | |---|---| | 70–100% | Green | | 40–69% | Amber | | 15–39% | Orange | | 5–14% | Red | | <5% | Pulsing red (shore wave) |
- Y-height modifier → overlay off entirely - Y-height modifier → calculated from equipped slots only - Y-height modifier → heartbeat pulse on taking damage - Y-height modifier → subtle hue shift based on your current biome - Y-height modifier → brightens above Y=0, darkens below
Configuration (Mod Menu)
| Setting | Description | |---|---| | Overlay | Toggle on/off | | Edge Thickness | How far the gradient bleeds inward (3–8%) | | Steps | Number of gradient bands (8–20) | | Gradient Style | Stepped (blocky) or Smooth (exponential fade) | | Opacity | Master transparency (0–50%) | | Damage Surge | Toggle heartbeat pulse on damage | | Biome Blend | Toggle biome hue tinting | | Blend Strength | Biome tint intensity (0–100%) |
Settings persist across sessions.
