Fine-grained TNT minecart damage control for Paper servers.

`Cart Nerfer` lets you reduce (or tune) TNT minecart damage, protect players from one-shots, and apply different behavior based on how the minecart was ignited.

Features

- Global TNT minecart damage multiplier (example: `0.5`) - Toggle damage from crossbow-triggered ignitions - Optional minimum remaining health protection (health floor) - Optional bypass mode for non-player ignition causes (dispenser, activator rail, etc.) - Optional armor-bypass mode for player-ignited carts - Projectile-specific damage overrides: - Crossbow damage override - Bow charge levels `1` to `5` damage overrides

Default Config

```yml

TNT minecart damage is multiplied by this number.

damage-multiplier: 1.0

If false, carts triggered by crossbow shots deal 0 damage to players.

crossbow-damage-enabled: true

If true, TNT minecart damage is clamped so a player stays at or above minimum-remaining-health.

health-protection-enabled: false

Health points, not hearts. 1.0 = half a heart.

minimum-remaining-health: 1.0

If true, carts ignited by dispenser/activator rail/other non-player sources bypass all nerf rules.

ignore-non-player-ignition: true

If true, player-ignited TNT minecart damage bypasses armor by applying direct health damage.

ignore-armor-when-player-ignited: false

Set values >= 0 to force exact damage from projectile-triggered ignitions.

Use -1 to disable an override and use normal multiplier logic instead.

projectile-damage: crossbow: -1.0 bow: charge-1: -1.0 charge-2: -1.0 charge-3: -1.0 charge-4: -1.0 charge-5: -1.0 ```

Notes

- Bow force is mapped to charge levels `1` through `5`. - Projectile override values are exact damage values, not multipliers. - Set override values to `-1` to disable them.

- Paper `1.21+`

Installation

1. Download the latest `.jar` from Modrinth. 2. Put it in your server's `plugins` folder. 3. Restart the server. 4. Edit `plugins/Cart Nerfer/config.yml` if needed. 5. Run `/tntnerfer get` to confirm active settings.
