Briefly about optimization:
For peaceful mobs, so to speak, the AI has been rewritten. They walk very slowly (speed 0.3). They also don't pay attention to the player or the world around them, they just exist, stupid animals. Thus, TPS is optimized due to minimal AI.
(Due to the slow speed of the peaceful mobs, they cannot escape from you, but they try. Namely, they walk from 1 to 3 blocks and when they stop they stand in place for 5 seconds.)
For hostile mobs, a small optimization of AI has been postponed, the player's search has been postponed, instead of every tick, it searches every 2 seconds, but if you are nearby, they will instantly notice you. It also optimizes TPS.
