Sign is a Paper/Purpur plugin that replaces the default player name tag with fully customizable, multi-line text displays rendered above each player's head. Unlike vanilla name tags, Sign lets you control the layout, content, colors, and visibility of each line independently — giving you fine-grained control that isn't possible with Minecraft's built-in system. Configuration is handled through a simple config file, and everything can be updated live without restarting your server.

Sign includes an extensive API that allows developers to integrate Sign systems directly into their plugins.
