Semi-Realistic Moon (Vanilla Phases)
Changes the Moon texture to look like a square version of the Moon in real life, while keeping a low-ish resolution to fit with vanilla.
This version matches the vanilla moon texture, but it is not physically correct. Minecraft's moon is rotatetd 90° from reality, and the phases are either reversed or go based on when it's setting.
The (better) version with the proper phases and moon rotation is available here. It looks very good with shaders that have a sun/moon angle.
Should be compatible with all versions going forward and back, unless Mojang messes with the folder structure.
