🛡️ The Rose-Gold Expansion

Enhance your Minecraft journey with some new rose-golden equipment! The Rose-Gold Expansion introduces the new Rose-Gold Ingot, which is crafted from copper and gold ingots. It is designed to bridge the gap of iron to diamond armor and to give you a bonus to use it even beyond.

⚒️ How it Works

- To get started you have to craft the new rose-gold ingot. Here is the recipe (it will also be shown in the crafting table):

- Further crafting is intuitive. For example, to craft a Rose-Gold Chestplate, simply use the standard chestplate pattern with the new rose-gold ingot:

- You can track your progress with new advancements.

Details of the armor:

- All armor pieces allow you to break blocks faster, which means that even if you already have diamond or netherite armor, it can still be useful to use this armor.

Details of the Apple

- The Rose-Golden Apple grants you a unique buff similar to the vanilla golden apple. - Health Boost 1 for 60 sec. - Regeneration 1 for 10 sec. - Absorption 1 for 120 sec.

⚠️ IMPORTANT

This datapack requires the corresponding Resource Pack to display textures correctly. Without it, items will appear as default vanilla objects or display broken textures.

- Note on Recipe Previews: Even with the Resource Pack enabled, looking at the recipe in the crafting table without possessing the required ingredients will display the original base vanilla item/block instead of the custom texture.

🛠️ Installation

Datapack - Place the .zip file into your world/datapacks folder.

Resource Pack - Place the .zip file into your resourcepacks folder. - Enable it in the in-game settings.

💡 Tip: If you are using the Modrinth App, the installation is handled automatically.

⚙️ Compatibility

This datapack is designed to be compatible with my Armor & Tools Expansion Datapack, it should also work with many other packs. - Potential Conflict: Issues may arise with other packs that also modify or use command blocks (as items) since the new rose-gold ingot is based on the command block.

- The rose-gold ingot uses the command block with a new item_model. It cannot be placed in survival mode, but be cautious with creative mode or other plugins that interact with command blocks, since other players may find a way to exploit it.

📝 Behind the Scenes

- This is a newer version of a datapack-part I made for a private Minecraft server (originally developed between late 2024 and 2025 for versions 1.21.3–4). I have now reworked it for newer Minecraft versions. - The Rose-Gold Expansion was originally planned to be in the Armor & Tools Expansion Part 2.
