About datapack / mod
Raw Ore to Blocks (ROtB) allows you to smelt gold into gold saving you a little bit of time when you have a ton of ore to smelt. It was mainly created to speed up the process of smelting gold, as there's always a load of it, but it also works with gold and gold.
Feature balancing
I didn't want this datapack / mod to be overpowered, so there are two things I did to balance it and keep that Vanilla-like experience. - Smelting Raw Ore Block takes the same time as smelting 9 single raw ores saving your smelting time by one ingot per block. (1600 ticks in the furnace, 800 ticks in the blast furnace). It also ensures that you will use only 9 single raw ores, so you're saving one coal piece per smelted block. - Smelting Raw Ore Block gives you the same amount of EXP as smelting 9 single raw ores so you're not losing any experience.
Recipes
This datapack / mod adds 6 new recipes that allow you to smelt raw ore blocks — 3 recipes for the furnace and 3 for the blast furnace.
Advancements
This datapack / mod comes with 4 new advancements. 3 of them will reward you for smelting raw ore blocks with some additional experience points.
