Plated Elytras
This data pack allows players to combine their Elytra with a chestplate of their choice. One half of the chestplate's armor value is added to the Elytra. The chestplate's enchantments are not transferred over (balance choice).
For versions < 1.20.5, you can craft your Plated Elytra by throwing a `slime ball`, `elytra` and a `chestplate` of your choice on top of an anvil.
For versions 1.20.5+, you can craft the Plated Elytras by putting a `slime ball`, your `chestplate` of choice and an `elytra` inside a crafting grid. The old anvil method has been removed. Additionally, the Netherite variant is now fire resistent.
