TL:DR - You know those squid guys from Larian Studios's hit game Baldur's Gate 3?

Traits + Abilities:

Atrophied (Passive):

> You deal less weapon damage, and benefit less from armor. - Attack Damage, Armor, and Armor Toughness are each reduced by 33% - Projectile Damage (i.e: arrows, thrown tridents, etc.) is reduced by 20% > Your body cannot recover through natural means, only through psionics. - You do not naturally regenerate health, and cannot be healed by the Regeneration potion effect

Psyforce (Passive):

> The source of your power. Maintain it at all costs. - Running out of Psyforce will disable all of your other abilities until the meter fully refills (~20s without intervention), and greatly exhaust you.

- Killing an enemy with 8+ health or hitting a Stunned target will refill a small amount of Psyforce and double its regen rate for 2 seconds.

- You can cancel Mind Blast and Mind Blast prematurely with Save Hotbar Activator (default: 'c')

Psionic Grasp (Active - Attack):

> Strike a foe with an empty hand to subdue them with psionic energy. - While restraining a target, you can trigger one of the following secondary effects with the Use key (1.5s CD between activations): - Psionic Fling: Crush the grasped target, dealing 6 points of armor-ignoring damage to it. - Psionic Fling: Launch the grasped target, applying a debuff to it and damaging anything caught in its path. - Toggle between Crush and Fling using the Load Hotbar Activator (default: 'x') while you have nothing in your main hand. - Can be ended by hitting the grasped target again, or by using Save Hotbar Activator (default: 'c'). - (Unlisted): A restrained target has greatly reduced Attack Damage and Attack Speed.

Psionic Ward (Passive):

> An adaptive barrier of psionic energy that twists to suit your every need. - Cycle between one of three effects using the Load Hotbar Activator (default: 'x') key while you have something in your main hand and nothing in your offhand. - Synaptic Static: While not taking damage for at least 1.5s, rapidly consume Psyforce to heal your wounds. - Synaptic Static: While using another ability (i.e: Psionic Grasp or Psionic Flight), reduce all damage taken by 3 and potentially destroy incoming projectiles. - Synaptic Static: Cloak yourself in a veil of psionic energy, making you much harder to detect (requires Pehkui for reduced mob detection), and granting you a 20% increase to movement speed. - You can cycle in reverse by sneaking.

Psionic Flight (Active - Jump):

> Expel psionic energy to enter a state of suspended flight. - In this state, the directional keys allow you to take more precise control of your movements. - The Forward key allows you to ascend if you are looking upwards, and descend if you are looking downwards. - Looking straight ahead will allow you to hover in place, but looking up or down will cause you to drift slowly in that direction.

Mind Blast (Active - Primary):

> Overwhelm your foes with raw psionic energy, damaging all enemies in a cone and potentially %%MD0%% them for up to 4 seconds. - A Stunned target cannot move, use items, or place blocks, and takes 75% more damage from any Psyker's attacks or abilities (though harming it will shorten the Stun duration). - Can be cancelled during its windup animation with Save Hotbar Activator (default c)

Notes:

To add this pack, navigate to your world folder, and find the 'datapacks' folder within it. Drag this baby in there and you should be all set to go.

Known Issues:

- Scoreboards is very similar to creative flight, but just different enough that it clashes with some anti-flying cheat detection software. You might need to be careful with how you use it if you plan on playing on a server with those kinds of features. - Scoreboards can sometimes get set up incorrectly (or not get set up at all!). In that case, try running (or asking someone with operator permissions to run) the following command: - ``` /function sapuspsychic:setup ``` - If that doesn't fix things, please DM me or create a thread in my Discord server, and I'll get to figuring it out as soon as possible.
