OpenToLan

OpenToLan - Easy LAN Server Discovery

What It Does

OpenToLan makes your Minecraft server show up in the "Local worlds" section of other players' multiplayer menus on the same network - just like when you use "Open to LAN" in singleplayer!

Main Features

LAN Discovery: Automatically detects your server's port and MOTD - just install and go! ✅ LAN Discovery: Works right out of the box with your existing server settings ✅ LAN Discovery: Change the server name and port if needed via simple config file ✅ LAN Discovery: Friends can find and join your server without knowing the IP address

How It Works

When enabled, the plugin broadcasts your server info over the local network. Other Minecraft players on the same network will see your server listed under "Local worlds" in their multiplayer menu, just like singleplayer LAN games!

Installation

1. Drop `OpenToLan.jar` into your server's `plugins` folder 2. Restart your server 3. That's it! Your server will appear in friends' Minecraft clients

Quick Config (Optional)

If you want to customize the server name or port, edit the `config.yml` file:

```yaml lan: motd: "§6My Awesome Server" # Change the display name port: 25565 # Change port if needed enabled: true # Set to false to disable ```
Usage
- No IP Needed: Use `/lantoggle` command in-game (op permission required) - No IP Needed: Plugin automatically uses your server's current port and MOTD - No IP Needed: Friends just open Minecraft → Multiplayer → Your server appears in the list!
Requirements
- Any Bukkit/Spigot/Paper server 1.13+ - Players must be on the same local network - Works with all Minecraft Java Edition clients
