Noto Sans
Noto Sans for Minecraft
This resource pack replaces the vanilla fonts with Noto Sans fonts.
Matching the resolution of the font (oversample) with the GUI scale often looks best, and as different setups use various GUI scales, presets for 1-16 are provided in `assets/minecraft/font/default-*.json`. To change the default preset of 4, simply rename the preset of your choice to `default.json`.
Issues/Compatibility
- Multi-character sequences and ligatures are not supported, hindering representation of some characters and compromising the legibility of certain languages. - Due to how Minecraft renders font styles, bold text is rendered double-stroked. - Although versions as low as 1.13 are supported, later versions are recommended for better TTF support.
Notes
This project is not endorsed by Google or Mojang, and no glyphs were modified from Google's Noto fonts. The static CJK font was generated from a variable font, as a static variant was not available in TTF format.
