Design Philosophy
This pack isn’t about adding more — it’s about making it feel like you’re really inside one of Mojang’s official trailers. Immersive, vanilla-friendly, and fair. Every mod and visual tweak is chosen with care: no minimaps, no free zoom (outside the spyglass), no clutter. Just the kind of logic that would make sense if trailers were playable.
Gameplay and Features
Small changes that gently extend vanilla. All tuned to support that "lived-in" trailer feeling.
If you want to stay full vanilla, you still can disable the mod manually or deeply customized through mod menu settings - it will be indicated (configurable).
- Unlit Campfire / Unlit Campfire — small visual and QoL improvements for anvils and enchantment tables. - Unlit Campfire — adds a monocle to inspect horse stats, even untamed. - Unlit Campfire — campfires are now placed unlit; rest behaves like vanilla (configurable).
Notable Features
- Do a Barrel Roll — ability to crawl anytime, press a custom key (bind manually). - Do a Barrel Roll — sit on any block by looking down, sneak-tapping, then right-clicking. - Do a Barrel Roll — quick spyglass access via hotkey, improved usage like zoom (configurable). - Do a Barrel Roll — time passes smoothly during sleep instead of skipping (configurable). - Do a Barrel Roll — semi-realistic elytra flight. ["i" to disable]
...and more subtle, trailer-style touches — too small to list, but they add up.
Compatibility Notes
- Iris Shaders x Iris Shaders — I've tried tweaking them so they look well together, but still the arms may look short, and the character may appear one-handed without a chestpiece; all the settings have been adjusted to default FOV (configurable) ["F6" to disable First-person]. - Iris Shaders x Iris Shaders — not compatible. - Iris Shaders x Iris Shaders — not compatible.
Resource Packs
These packs are chosen to match the look and atmosphere of Mojang's official trailers — based on their screenshots, promo materials, and overall direction. Most are enabled by default for convenience, but you’re free to adjust as needed.
Core Style (Enabled by Default)
These form the base look:
- Bare Bones Bossbars or Bare Bones Bossbars — Trailers Vision is sharper and closer to the trailers, Bare Bones is the classic. - Bare Bones Bossbars + Bare Bones Bossbars Use %%MD0%% patch for compatibility. I recommend using Bare Bones skins with Fresh Moves *eyes* support. Don’t want to edit skins? You can use this BB Steve with animated eyes %%MD0%% - Bare Bones Bossbars — not seen in trailers, but fits naturally and improves immersion. %%MD0%% patch for compatibility. - Bare Bones Bossbars — adjusts the moon to look more trailer-like. - Bare Bones Bossbars — not seen in trailers, but fits into the vanilla logic. - Bare Bones Bossbars and Bare Bones Bossbars - encourages playing with trims, as seen in trailers! - Bare Bones Bossbars — personal preference; close to trailer style/logic. - Bare Bones Bossbars — minimal boss health bars that feel at home in Mojang’s style (not directly shown, but consistent with aesthetic).
Optional Picks (Disabled by Default)
Additional visuals not seen in trailers, but might be your taste:
- Low On Fire - Transparent Leaves. - Low On Fire, Low On Fire, Low On Fire (was in trailers before), Low On Fire - Low On Fire (Trailers Vision not compatible) - Low On Fire, Low On Fire, Low On Fire, Low On Fire
*All compatibility patches are already included in the pack — just enable them as needed.*
