ARCO Coaches (CP/RENFE) – Based on EUROFIMA by Soodari, textured for Minecraft by me

The ARCO coaches are a series of refurbished long-distance passenger cars originally operated by RENFE (Spain’s national rail operator), now acquired and operated by Comboios de Portugal (CP). Originally derived from older RENFE conventional stock, ARCO coaches were introduced in the late 1990s with upgraded interiors, air conditioning, improved bogies, and enhanced ride comfort to offer a more modern intercity travel experience across Spain.

In 2020, CP purchased several ARCO coaches from RENFE to improve its long-distance and regional services, especially along the Linha do Minho and Linha do Douro. These cars are compatible with the Iberian gauge (1668 mm) and are typically hauled by electric or diesel-electric locomotives. Their interior is designed for comfort over medium to long distances, and CP introduced them into service in 2021.

This Minecraft resource pack brings the ARCO coaches into Minecraft using the Minecraft Transit Railway mod. The textures were created by me based on Soodari’s EUROFIMA coach models and adapted to reflect the real-life CP ARCO livery and styling.
