MoreRealisticSurvival999

MoreRealisticSurvival999 is a Minecraft plugin that adds a variety of new survival mechanics to the game, making it more challenging and immersive. This plugin introduces temperature and thirst systems, as well as other features that require players to be more mindful of their environment.

Features

Temperature System

* Temperature Damage: Each player has a temperature that is influenced by their surroundings. The temperature is displayed on a boss bar, which changes color based on how hot or cold the player is. * Temperature Damage: Different biomes have different effects on the player's temperature. Hot biomes like deserts will cause the player's temperature to rise, while cold biomes like snowy plains will cause it to fall. * Temperature Damage: Being in water will rapidly cool the player down, while standing near heat sources like fire, lava, or furnaces will warm them up. * Temperature Damage: Armor provides insulation, which can help protect the player from extreme temperatures. Different armor materials provide different levels of insulation, and armor can be upgraded with wool to increase its insulation value. * Temperature Damage: If a player's temperature gets too high or too low, they will start to take damage.

Thirst System

* Dehydration Effects: Each player has a water level that depletes over time. The water level is displayed in the action bar. * Dehydration Effects: The rate at which the water level depletes is affected by the biome the player is in. Hot biomes will cause the water level to deplete faster. * Dehydration Effects: When a player's water level gets low, they will receive a "low water" warning and a slowness effect. If the water level reaches zero, the player will start to take damage.

Water Collection and Purification

* Purifying Water: Players can collect water in glass bottles by right-clicking on a water source. There is an 80% chance of collecting "Dirty Water" and a 20% chance of collecting "Clean Water". * Purifying Water: Drinking "Dirty Water" will restore a small amount of water but will also give the player a poison effect. * Purifying Water: "Clean Water" can be safely consumed to restore a larger amount of water. * Purifying Water: "Dirty Water" can be purified by smelting it in a furnace or on a campfire.

Waterskins

* Filling and Purifying: Players can craft waterskins to store multiple charges of water. Waterskins are crafted from leather, string, and a glass bottle. * Filling and Purifying: Waterskins can be filled from water sources, which will result in a "Dirty Waterskin". "Dirty Waterskins" can be purified in a furnace or on a campfire.

Other Features

* Rainwater Cauldrons: Torches placed by players will burn out after a configurable amount of time, dropping a "Burnt Torch" item. * Rainwater Cauldrons: Crops that are not harvested will rot after a configurable amount of time, turning into a dead bush. * Rainwater Cauldrons: Grass, tall grass, and flowers will slowly spread in the wild, creating a more natural-looking environment. * Rainwater Cauldrons: Cauldrons placed outdoors will slowly fill with water when it is raining.
