Mind and Matter

Minecraft: Mind and Matter is designed to preserve a surface-level vanilla design of Minecraft, while offering a number of endeavors for the player to indulge in without directly impacting regular play of Minecraft. Most mods (save for mods that add new enemies/creatures, such as Whisperwoods, Knight Quest, and Cobblemon) are contained in a manner that allow one to make the choice to utilize or experience them, while having as little presence in the "vanilla" setting of minecraft as possible.

For example, Spectrum is a mod that, on a surface level, has almost no presence in the world beyond a few new geodes. However, it begins to reveal new content to the player as they progress through it. NEEPmeat is a similar case. The choice to compile such mods together is for the sake of allowing players, especially in the multiplayer setting, to adventure and travel in a world that is adjacent to vanilla Minecraft, while also having the freedom to explore new, unique, and exciting content/mechanics.
