This pack is designed to give you a legal competitive advantage in Mace PvP. This pack is designed with McTiers tierlist rules in mind, although all servers rules are not the same I am yet to find one where this pack would be illegal.
To get even more bang for your buck you can combine this resource pack with the "Enchanted Maces" resource pack.
