LuckPermsRang
LuckPermsRang is a minimalistic Minecraft plugin that adds a straightforward /rang <player> <group> command for quick rank assignment, fully integrated with LuckyPerms. Designed as a modern replacement for outdated PEX-only rank tools, it streamlines permission management on Bukkit/Spigot/Paper servers without unnecessary extras.
Key Features Single Command: /rang <player> <group> sets a player's rank directly via LuckyPerms groups (e.g., /rang Steve vip).
Permission: Requires rang.set for all usage—no sub-permissions or aliases.
LuckyPerms Native: Hooks via Vault; supports groups, weights, prefixes, and tracks automatically.
Lightweight: No bloat—config-free by default, instant setup.
Setup Ensure LuckyPerms is installed.
Place LuckPermsRang.jar in /plugins/.
Restart server and define groups in LuckyPerms (e.g., /lp creategroup vip).
Grant rang.set to admins via /lp user <staff> permission set rang.set true.
Perfect for efficient staff rank changes on 1.16+ servers, replacing PEX-limited plugins with seamless LuckyPerms support. (see the generated image above)
