Mostly based on and ported to Fabric from Lock On. Parts of the mod were rewritten to accommodate special features and configuration options.

This mod adds two new keys to Minecraft. One to lock on to nearby monsters (and Interaction entities, in case of server plugin custom mobs) and another to switch between multiple targets.
Going too far away or killing the target will leave lock-on mode.
