Make chat dialects: communication is restricted by dialects and by the dialects players have learned.

How it works

- face to face. Far away messages degrade into enchanting-table glyphs (Galactic alphabet vibe). - Want to trade? Meet face to face instead of spying on global chat.

Dialects

Players can learn rare dialects by finding Dialect Tomes:

- Enderman Echo: understand / communicate with players in the Nether - Enderman Echo: understand / communicate with players in The End

Cross-dimension communication works when both players know the dialect.

Commands

- `/lingbarrier dialects` (shows what you know) - `/lingbarrier reload` (admin) - `/lingbarrier givebook <dialect> [player]` (admin)

Config

Everything is configurable:

- Clear / max chat distance - Dialect books (name/lore) + drop chances + mob sources
