⚔️ KillEffects
The ultimate cosmetic kill system for your PvP server. KillEffects is a high-performance, fully customizable cosmetic plugin for Minecraft servers (Paper/Spigot 1.21.1). It allows your players to collect, showcase, and play spectacular visual and sound effects after defeating their opponents.
🌟 Why choose KillEffects?
Stop using boring, static kill messages! KillEffects transforms standard PvP into an engaging experience. Whether it's a simple lightning strike or a legendary holographic ascension, your players will love showing off their style.
💎 For Server Owners
YAML-Based Effect Engine: Create unlimited unique effects without touching a single line of Java code. Advanced Visuals: Supports particles, sounds, lightning, circles, spirals, and even pixel-art particle text (e.g., "EZ"). Holographic Displays: Utilizes 1.21.1 native TextDisplay entities for smooth, lag-free holograms that face the player. Dynamic UI: Beautiful, auto-generated GUI (/ke) where players can preview and select their effects. Zero Lag: Optimized code built specifically for modern Paper/Spigot versions.
🎮 Features for Players
Easy Interface: Manage your aesthetics with one simple menu (/ke). Personalization: Toggle visual effects or sounds separately. Placeholders: Support for %victim% placeholder in holographic messages. Collectibles: Unlock new effects through gameplay or store packages.
🛠 Admin Commands
``` /ke — Open the effects selection menu (killeffects.gui) /ke toggle — Quickly enable/disable visual effects /ke sound — Quickly enable/disable effect sounds /ke reload — Refresh all configs and effects on the fly (killeffects.admin) ```
💡 How to create effects?
Creating an effect is as easy as creating a file in /plugins/KillEffects/effects/. Just define your sequence of actions (sounds, particles, text) in a .yml file and run /ke reload. Your players will see the new effect instantly! Also, on the project's GitHub there is a guide with all possible commands for creating your own effects.
