Idle Pause
Idle Pause
Idle Pause is a very simplistic datapack that pauses the day-night cycle when there is nobody online on the server. You can now leave your server running and anyone can come back at anytime and the time will be exactly where they left off. There is no setup required, just simply enable the datapack.
Important Note
Please note that as of 1.21.2, `pause-when-empty-seconds` was added to the `server.properties` file which will pause the server for you! This datapack will continue to be updated, as you may not want the server to be fully paused.
Installation
- In your server directory, open your primary world folder. - This is typically called `world`, the name is defined in the `server.properties` file. - Drag the datapack file into the `datapacks` folder. - In the game type `/datapack add "file/Idle_Pause"` - Success! You can test if this datapack is working by typing `/time query daytime` a few times when there is nobody online to see if it changes at all.
