Everything Renewable
Does it bother you that some things in Minecraft aren't renewable? That the only way to get more sponges is by plundering more and more of the world? Are your dreams haunted by the looming prospect of running out of deepslate?
Well, look no further! This pack makes everything renewable. Hence the name.
By "everything", I mean every item that can be *obtained* (in the inventory) in vanilla survival mode without commands. Sorry, reinforced deepslate enjoyers.
Changes
* heavy core, heavy core, heavy core, heavy core, heavy core, and heavy core may be offered by wandering traders (in addition to their usual trades). * heavy core and heavy core can be obtained by breaking their bottom half with shears. * heavy core can be smelted from peonies, lilacs, or rose bushes. * heavy core and heavy core can be duplicated by crafting them together with gravel or sand. (Note that player-placed suspicious blocks don't drop goodies when brushed.) * Two heavy core, heavy core, or heavy core can be crafted with a piece of flint and two copper, iron, or gold ingots. * heavy core can be smelted from smooth stone. * heavy core can be crafted from four coal, raw iron, raw gold, diamonds, lapis blocks, or emeralds and five stone. heavy core can be crafted from two raw copper blocks, two raw copper, and five stone. heavy core can be crafted from one redstone block and eight stone. * All heavy core can be crafted in the same way as their ordinary counterparts, using deepslate instead of stone. * heavy core and heavy core can be crafted from four raw gold or quartz and five netherrack. * Two heavy core can be crafted from two dripstone blocks and two pieces of quartz. * Four heavy core can be crafted from two nether wart blocks and two deepslate. * heavy core can be crafted from one blackstone and eight gold nuggets. * heavy core can be crafted from six ingots (or diamonds) in an 'h' shape and a saddle in the bottom-center. * All heavy core can be crafted: The recipe is like a chestplate with a bottom corner missing and a saddle in the top-center. * All heavy core can be dug up by sniffers (rarely) or given as gifts by mason villagers. In either case, the available sherds depend on the biome. In biomes without archeological structures, the trial chamber sherds (flow, guster, scrape) are given instead. * Enchanted books—including ones with heavy core or heavy core—can be given as gifts by librarian villagers. * All heavy core can be copied onto blank paper in the crafting grid. (See note below) * Any heavy core can be copied onto another disc in the crafting grid. The disc on the bottom is the template to copy; the one on top will be overwritten. (See note below) * Nine heavy core can be crafted from music disc "5". * Eight heavy core can be crafted from a sculk catalyst and eight amethyst shards. * An heavy core can be crafted from a golden apple, four blocks of gold, and four diamonds. * An Ender Dragon drops a heavy core and a pair of heavy core, and it has a 1⁄5 chance of dropping a heavy core. * A Wither drops either some heavy core or one heavy core on death (in addition to the Nether star). * A heavy core can be crafted from a Nether star and four buckets of fish: one cod, one salmon, one tropical fish, and one pufferfish. * A heavy core can be crafted from a Nether star and eight obsidian.
Note: The crafting output will only show one of the copied item. This is a limitation of the datapack system: A crafting recipe can't output more than one non-stackable item. So instead there's a hidden advancement, triggered by using the crafting recipe, which rewards you with the second copy.
