Delta Force Armor System
🛡️ Delta Force Armor System
A comprehensive armor management overhaul for Minecraft 1.21.11 that introduces a tiered repair kit system, changes how armor breaks, and gives you full control over durability mechanics.
✨ Core Features
🔧 Repair Kit System
5 tiers of repair kits for both helmets and chestplates:
- Netherite → Entry level, repairs leather & copper armor - Netherite → Standard tier, repairs leather, chainmail, copper & iron - Netherite → Quick repair (20% faster use time) - Netherite → Efficient repair (20% less durability consumption) - Netherite → Universal repair for all armor tiers
Repair kits work by durability transfer — they have a capacity that depletes as you repair armor. Repair them in anvils using iron ingots!
💔 Armor Doesn't Break
When armor reaches doesn't disappear, it doesn't disappear! Instead:
- ✅ Armor remains visible on your character - ❌ Provides zero protection - ❌ Enchantments stop working - 🔧 Can still be repaired with repair kits
⚙️ Extensive Configuration
47+ configuration options via Cloth Config:
- Hunger cost — Lower-tier kits can't repair high-tier armor - Hunger cost — Disable anvil combining/material repair - Hunger cost — Disable Mending enchantment on armor - Hunger cost — Make armor degrade faster or slower - Hunger cost — Set repair kit capacity per tier - Hunger cost — Override vanilla armor durability values - Hunger cost — Add hunger consumption when using kits

🎮 How It Works
Using Repair Kits
1. corresponding slot (recipe provided in-game) 2. corresponding slot while holding the kit 3. Armor in the corresponding slot (helmet/chestplate) gets repaired 4. Kit capacity depletes by the amount restored
Repairing Repair Kits
- Place a depleted repair kit in an XP levels - Combine with XP levels to restore capacity - Costs XP levels (configurable)
Tier Restrictions (Optional)
When `enableLevelRestriction=true`:
| Kit Tier | Can Repair | |----------|------------| | Copper | Leather, Copper | | Iron | Leather, Chainmail, Copper, Iron | | Gold | Iron, Gold (quick repair specialization) | | Diamond | All tiers up to Diamond (efficient repair) | | Netherite | All armor types |
