deathwatch
deathwatch lets you track player deaths on your server.
Make sure you never miss things like "[USERNAME] was pricked to death by a cactus."
Death information is stored in the "JSON Lines" format. Each day gets its own file, named like `deathwatch/YYYY/MM/DD.jsonl` (e.g. `deathwatch/2026/03/14.jsonl`).
The format of each entry is documented on GitHub.
When combined with deathwatch-viewer, you can get a website showing a log of player deaths on your server:
