DayCycle
DayCycle
synchronizes the Minecraft day/night cycle with real-world time.
Instead of a fixed 20-minute Minecraft day, the sun and moon follow the actual time of day based on the player’s timezone. Sunrise, sunset and twilight phases are calculated using astronomical algorithms, creating a much more natural and immersive world.
Players in different parts of the world can experience their own local time, meaning someone in Europe may see sunset while a player in America still sees daylight.
This plugin is lightweight and updates the world time smoothly without affecting performance.
Features
- Real-world synchronized day/night cycle - Accurate sunrise and sunset times - Civil, nautical and astronomical twilight phases - Per-player timezone support - Automatic timezone detection based on location - Timezone command with tab completion - Server status command for administrators - Lightweight and performance friendly (updates once per second)
Commands:
/settimezone [timezone]
/daycycle true/false
Permissions:
