Bring Back the Old Blocking Mechanic!
Because of a recent update to Minecraft, you can actually make anything consumable. Taking this idea, we can make a sword have a really high consume time, which recreates the blocking animation.
The plugin checks if the player has this item and is "eating" it. If so it will reduce the damage the same way it does in 1.8.

- NBTAPI (Required) - OldCombatMechanics (Optional, but recomended as Bring Back Blocking doesn't remove Hit Delay or other 1.9+ PvP Features)
Commands
- `/giveblockablesword <player> <sword>`: Give a sword with the blocking mechanic. Example: `/giveblockablesword Al3xWarrior diamond_sword` (Permission: `bbb.givesword`)
