Starting in snapshot 25w31a, Spawn Chunks were removed from the game. This mod/datapack adds Spawn Chunks back into the game.
Spawn Chunks are a 3 by 3 chunk area at the center of a minecraft world. They are always loaded by the game even when a player does not have them within their render distance. These permanently loaded chunks are extremely useful for survival players who have farms they want running at all times.
