Better Iron Recycling

Recycle more iron items! With this data pack, you can recycle more iron-based items, such as chains, shields, rails and iron bars, in a furnace or blast furnace for nuggets, ingots or even iron blocks! Plus, use a stonecutter to recycle blast furnaces, stonecutters, pistons, sticky pistons, crafters (1.21+) and lodestones (1.21.5+) into iron nuggets!

If something requires four or more ingots per item to make, get one ingot from smelting it. Otherwise, get an iron nugget. Exceptions: Compasses become iron nuggets (so download this pack) to use fewer ingots in the compass recipe). Smithing tables and doors become iron ingots.
