Where Are The Ores?

### **Where Are The Ores? is a lightweight datapack that:**
– Disables ores from generating.
– Adds a chance for ores to drop when mining Stone, Deepslate, or Netherrack.

**Instead of going into caves looking for ores, now you can mine Stone, Deepslate, or Netherrack to get ores!**

# Features:
#### • Removed ore gen
#### • Mining Stone/Deepslate in the Overworld has a chance to drop overworld ores.
#### • Mining Netherrack in the Nether has a chance to drop nether ores.
#### • Works with normal tools and enchantments.

### Why use this datapack?
Where Are The Ores? adds realism by mining for ores instead of looking for them. Mining for just Stone, Deepslate, or Netherrack gives you ores; It’s like a reward for the time spent.

# Compatibility:
This datapack only modifies block loot tables and worldgen files. It should work with most datapacks unless they also modify the same loot tables and worldgen files.

Yes.

No.

**Do these dungeons generate if I add them on a world I already explored?**

Yes. You will have to explore further and load new chunks though! Remember to save a backup of your world just in case.

**Are you going to add a config file?**

This mod is datapack-based, and therefore datapacks are required to configure it. Public templates will be available soon.

**When Dungeons Arise** is a massive dungeon generator which gathers plenty of dungeons and generates them randomly on your worlds to ensure glorious adventures and challenges. We have took a step away from standard vanilla structures, resulting in imposing dungeons to lose yourself into.

However, be wary when you venture into a palace in search of precious loot, and don’t forget to land safely after raiding a hostile airship. Dungeons will generate foes to keep you away from them… at least until you’re ready to walk across countless, dangerous passages…

What is ‘Stone’? (Colorful Caves)

About this Mod


I’ve always found it weird that Minecraft just has a block called ‘Stone’. What a generic term, and you’re using it to cover so many different types of stone.

This is not doing real caves justice.

To fix this, we replaced all stone blocks with real life variants! 

Not only that, but badlands biomes get a minor overhaul with new blocks replacing most terracotta blocks!

 

Now, there are a few potential issues with this mod. Luckily, I have done my best to tackle them all:

– I can’t craft things with these modded blocks! How am I supposed to get stone?

I have added Forge tags that should allow you to craft stone tools, furnaces, etc. For other recipes, you can convert stone variants into cobblestone by placing 4 in your crafting inventory.

Crafting Recipe

 

– There are way too many blocks and it’s clogging up my inventory!

Once again, you can convert groups of any 4 stone variants into cobblestone using your crafting inventory. Additionally, you could use bundles, backpack mods, chests, or shulker boxes to store your blocks if you don’t want to convert them.

Planned Features


This mod is far from perfect, but I do plan to improve it in several ways:

– Integrate BlockSwap mod or something similar to fully replace stone (world gen may still produce stone in rare instances)

– Add more decorative building blocks (polished, brick, chiseled variants + stairs & slabs)

– Add cobblestone counterparts to some blocks

– Add more stone variants

– Remake some textures

– Add ores/alloys w/compatibility for other mods

– Separate furnace variant mod with compatibility for other mods, including this one

– Port/Backport to other versions, likely 1.18.2, 1.19.4, or 1.16.5 (Leave a comment so I know what’s in the highest demand!)

– Fabric port (Maybe)

– Add compatibility to other mods, including (sorted high to low priority):

     – Excavated Variants

      – Any decoration mod with Stone decor in it

      – Vertical Slabs Compat (I find this obsolete when the Additional Placements mod exists)

# Whales Minecraft Plugin

This Minecraft Plugin adds Whales to Minecraft. It also introduces Barnacles and Barnacle Spikes. The plugin is completely inspired by a post on `X` by `@Vitreous_Glassy`. You can find the post `here`.

## Installation

1. Install the plugin like any other Minecraft plugin.
2. After installation, you need to either use the provided resource pack yourself or set it as mandatory for the whole server. You can find the resource pack on `Modrinth`, `GitHub` or on `MediaFire`.
3. To set it as mandatory, follow `this tutorial` by `@KasaiSora` on YouTube.

– You can stack barnacles to make different sounds, up to nine blocks tall
– You can apply banners to sail and get them back with a water bucket 🙂
– You can open the hullback’s inventory using E when riding to check on it
– You can open the cannon’s inventory using E
– You can fire the cannon using the spacebar, but you need gunpowder first…
– If an anchor is installed, you can lower and raise it from the helm with your spacebar!

Wetland Whimsy

### About

Wetland Whimsy is a mod which completely overhauls Minecraft’s swamps! It includes a whole new subbiome, several new plants and blocksets, and ancient ruins that dot the landscape of these overhauled wetlands. While these ruins contain plenty of treasure, be warned – some of them may not be as abandoned as they first seem!

Features:

– **Overhauled Swamps** with completely redone visuals!
– **The Marsh**, an all-new biome that spawns between Swamps and the ocean!
– **New Flora** in the form of Pennywort, Cordgrass, and unique mushrooms!
– **New Fauna**, such as the friendly Cranes and not-so-friendly Infested Spiders!
– **New Building Blocks** including Lemonstone and the all-new Bald Cypress woodset!
– **Wetland Ruins**, ancient structures built from lemonstone with plenty of loot for those who look.
– **The Swamp Dungeon**, a mysterious, mazelike structure built for an unknown purpose. **Ancient Pots** with **strange symbols** may be found down there… their loot may not be that great, but maybe there’s a way to improve it?

### Compatibility

Wetland Whimsy uses biome modifiers to modify the vanilla Swamp, meaning it should be compatible with most other mods that redo the Swamp biome as well! This is true for both the 1.21.1 and the 1.20.1 releases, so you don’t need to worry about adding this mod to any of your modpacks.

Currently, Wetland Whimsy has explicit support for **YUNGs Better Witch Huts**, **YUNGs Extras**, and **Supplementaries**. Additionally, it has been tested with **Nature’s Spirit**, **Swampier Swamps**, and **Extra Compat**, all with no isssues. If you are unsure if a mod will be compatible, try it out! The worst that could happen is that they aren’t.

### Version Support

Wetland Whimsy currently supports **Neoforge 1.21.1**. 1.20.1 is deprecated – it may recieve bugfixes, but most likely will not get any new content.

Unfortunately, this mod will not have official Fabric support. Maintaining one modloader is already difficult and time-consuming, two would be too much for me to handle. However, this mod is **free and open-source**, so if you know how to port it and would like to, go ahead!
