Wavey Pack

## 🌿 Wavey Pack – Bring Life to Your World (Java Edition)

**Wavey Pack** is a lightweight **vanilla-style** resource pack for **Minecraft Java Edition** that makes **Leaves, Flowers, Grass, and Water wave gently** — giving your world a calm and natural movement effect.
It keeps the original Minecraft textures and only adds animation, making your gameplay feel beautiful and more alive.

### ✨ Features

* 🌳 Wavey **Leaves** on all trees
* 🌾 Soft movement for **Grass & Tall Grass**
* 🌺 Subtle animation on **Flowers**
* 💧 Calm wave effect on **Water**
* 🎮 100% **vanilla look** preserved
* 🧊 Works without shaders
* 🔋 FPS-friendly on most systems

### ⚠️ Compatibility Notice

This pack **does not** work on:

| Not Supported | Reason |
| ————- | ——————————————————– |
| Sodium | Replaces block rendering / lacks wavey animation support |
| OptiFine | Conflicts with custom vertex animation method |

✅ Works best on **pure Vanilla Java** or with **clients/mod loaders that do not override block animations**.

✅ Works in both singleplayer & multiplayer (client-side only)

❌ Does not work on Bedrock / MCPE

### ✅ Performance

The pack is **very lightweight** as it only animates existing vanilla textures — no models or high-res files.
If your system can run vanilla, it can run this.

## Description
This is a texture pack (not a mod or shaderpack) that works in Vanilla Minecraft. To use, all you need to do is apply the pack. No other required installs and no required settings tweaks. There are optional settings that you can access in the texture pack itself or with an optional mod called respackopts.

The waves in the texture pack are extremely simple, and is done by calculating a sine wave for the x direction and a cosine wave for the z direction (both based on height, speed and frequency) then just taking the average of the two. The waves are not meant to be realistic, and instead are meant to add more depth to the base game.

## How to Use
1. Download and install the texture pack like normal
2. Optionally, install respackopts for more control on how the waves look. After installing this, you should see a settings icon appear on the texture pack.
3. If the effect isn’t working, try disabling other packs. This texture pack also notably does not work with the Sodium mod.
4. If you can’t find the texture pack in the list, try enabling folder view in the bottom left if you have recursive resources and then searching for it with the search bar.
5. To configure the pack without respackopts, open the texture pack file and then head to `assets/minecraft/shaders/include` then open the `config.glsl` file. There will be 3 values that you can change to any number you want.

Wathe Compat

# Wathe Compat
_Wathe Compat_ is a resource pack that adds compatibality between the _Eating Animation_ mod and _The Last Voyage of the Harpy Express_ modpack. _Wathe Compat_ does so by adding sprite animations for drinking to all of the drinks added in _The Last Voyage of the Harpy Express_ modpack. Next to that, Wathe Compat now also adds sprite animations to (most) of the items added in the modpack.

Items with eating animations

Champagne,
Cosmopolitan,
Martini,
Mojito,
Old Fashioned

Items with sprite animations

Crowbar,
Firecracker,
Grenade,
Key,
Knife,
Poison Vial,
Revolver

In order for this resource pack to work the Eating Animation mod must be installed into the The Last Voyage of the Harpy Express modpack.

_*Shaders used in showcase are not included and must be installed seperately._

## Credits

Credits for the method used to implement the sprite animations found in the Eating Animation mod go to @theoness1 and @PinkGoosik

Water and Lava Normals

Based on Vibrant visuals. It makes water in shaders have reflections to make it prettier. And also adds normals to lava, to also make it look better. it is more notable when shown against daylight.

It works on both LabPBR and SeusPBR. Just need to activate Advanced materials depending on the shaders you are using.

Water Firefly Bush

![About](https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/cached_images/7872543c4e2b0ba39d15b3a02631fee4cd30b8ac.png)

Using CTM, this resource pack replaces seagrass only at Y=62 so that it looks like a tall firefly bush. Any seagrass placed above or found below this level will appear normal.

Water Caustics

![About](https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/cached_images/19d332cdab77737cd016fd7c1ae13efef260cbc7_0.webp)

**Water Caustics** is an **experimental** resource pack that gives blocks animated textures using Continuity to simulate water caustics. These animations appear only on the top faces of blocks between Y-levels 55 and 62, and using Polytone, only applies to ocean biomes and rivers.

![Changes](https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/cached_images/6fa66b49032f32e9bda3abbc30537784ac421bf8_0.webp)

Current Blocks

Every block that can be found natrually in water biomes between Y-levels 55 and 62 by default, have animations.

– Polished Granite
– Stone
– Stone Brick Types
– Coral Block Types
– Clay
– Terracotta
– Dirt
– Sand
– Gravel
– Sandstone Types
– Prismarine
– Prismarine Bricks
– Netherrack
– Obsidian
– Packed Ice
– Blue Ice
– Dripstone Block

Slabs, stairs, trapdoors and fences included.

Affected Biomes

– Ocean
– Cold Ocean
– Lukewarm Ocean
– Warm Ocean
– Frozen Ocean
– Deep Ocean
– Deep Cold ocean
– Deep Lukewarm ocean
– Deep Frozen ocean
– River

CTM can’t detect water or fluid states, so blocks can’t connect directly to water. Instead, the texture is determined by Y-level and biomes. If any other biomes were added to the list, caustics could appear on blocks that aren’t actually underwater, such as beaches or any land biomes bordering the ocean.

For creative uses, a workaround for this, is making caustics appear next to land biomes that border oceans and rivers, by using Axiom (?) or WorldEdit (?) to change the water’s biome to one of the ocean biomes.

Natrual Textures

For the best results, use Natrual Textures to give blocks rotations, which rotate the water caustics with it, to look more natrual, as shown in screenshots.
