# Zombie World Horde

Zombie World Horde is a small gameplay-focused mod designed to be used alongside a zombie apocalypse–style modpack.

This mod modifies hostile mob behavior in the Overworld to create a more consistent and immersive zombie survival experience.

## Features
– Prevents non-zombie hostile mobs from spawning in the Overworld
– Spawns zombies in organized groups or hordes
– Allows configuration of minimum and maximum horde sizes using the `/zwhorde` command

This mod is intended to support a specific playstyle and enhance the overall experience of survival-based gameplay.

## Important Notes
This mod is still a work in progress. There are known issues that I have not been able to fully resolve yet and plan to address in future updates.

### Known Issues
– ~~In some cases, hostile mobs may appear as “ghost” entities. These entities are removed server-side, but the client may fail to immediately recognize their removal.~~
**Update:** All reported bugs have been fixed.

Feedback and bug reports are always welcome. The mod will continue to be improved over time as issues are identified and resolved.

Adds 10+ weapons all with special abilities, special consumables, enchants, effects, and a miniboss.

Weapons (Tier 1):

Spoiler

Flash: Upon use, the player dashes forward. If there is a mob in the way, the mob takes damage and turns the player around. 


Aura: Attacks all mobs around the player in a range. 


Ghost Fury: Teleports to nearest mob and applies glowing other nearby mobs.


Necron: Applies wither to nearby mobs. Upon use, doubles the amplifier. 


Ephemeral: Attacks mobs through walls


Weapons (Tier 2):

Blights Embrace: Curses the user with Wither (toggleable). Does the most damage (12) of all other weapons. Causes mobs around the player to be inflicted with Wither II. Shoots a wither projectile that applies Wither IV for 10 seconds and Slowness II and Weakness II for 6 seconds.


Eclipse: Attacks all mobs in a given range. It will create 2 circles, where the mobs in the outer circle take the regular amount of damage, and mobs inside the inner circle take double damage.


Implosion: Dashes forward and creates an explosion at the player (player does not take damage from explosion, nor destroy blocks).


Seraphim: Heals and applies regeneration all non-hostile mobs and players nearby. Applies resistance and absorbtion II for 5 seconds and invulnerbility for 1 second only to player wielding the weapon.


Shadow Rage: Teleports to and applies damage to 3 mobs and glowing to other nearby mobs.

Specter Fang: Attacks mobs through walls. At the end of the range, it creates a small explosion, dealing high knockback.


Weapons (Tier 3)

Spoiler

These tier 3 require a rare ore called Luminite. Luminite can be crated into Shadow Orbs and Luminite Cores. Combined with a Katana Upgrade Template, tier 2’s can be upgraded into tier 3’s via smithing table.


Elysium: Heals the player to full health and applies regeneration all non-hostile mobs and players nearby. Applies resistance and absorption II for 5 seconds and invulnerbility for 2 seconds only to player wielding the weapon.


Lucifer: Does the most damage of all tier 3 weapons (20 damage), but reflects half of the attack damage back upon the wielder. Grants strength 1 for 3 seconds upon right click.


Shatter: Dashes forward, creating multiple, smaller explosions around the player within 8 blocks.


Hyperion: Dashes forward, creating a large, powerful explosion.

The Giant Sword: Summons a giant sword from the sky to slam down. Deals 10 magic, armor-piercing damage.


Kraken: Attacks all mobs surrounding the player, binding them and slowing them down.


Swift Death: Teleports to one mob with a high damage multiplier. Grants the player speed, haste, and invisibility.


Necromancer Lord: Teleports to three mobs dealing damage. On mob death, summons a friendly ghost to assist the player.


Vortex: Pulls mobs from around the player, granting the player resistance and weakness to the mobs.


Twin Fang: Shoots a wall-piercing beam infront of the player and behind the player. Summons an explosion at the end of the beams.

Effects & Pills:

Pills:

All pills require the Refined Pill Base. Craft the regular Pill Base and then smelt it to get the Refined Pill Base.


Antidote Pill: Grants Immunity effect for 1 minute


Enhancement Pill: Grants absorbtion, strength, speed, jump boost, and regeneration I for ten seconds.


Major Enhancement Pill: Grants absorbtion, strength, speed, jump boost, and regeneration II for a minute.


Lumious Pill: Grants sensing for 5 minutes.


Steel Pill: Grants, resistance, strength, and robust II for 2 minutes.

Effects:

Invulnerbility: Player cannot take damage.


Sensing: Mobs within 15 blocks are affected with glowing.


Immunity: Player cannot be afflicted with poison or wither.


Crippled: Mobs lose one attack damage.


Broken Armor: Mobs lose two armor and armor toughness.


Blood Lust: Player gains one attack damage.


Robust: Grants 0.2 knockback resistance.


Shielding: Only obtained from the Shatter Weapon. Grants 4 armor.


Bound: Binds the mob, making it unable to move. Then applies slowness when the effect ends.


Enchants:

These custom enchants can only be obtained from gems found thoughout the world. Equip the gem in the offhand and have a sword in the main hand. Then, right click. Has a chance to grant an enchantment or fails and crumbles. NOTE: Currently only Common Gems exist. More will come as I develop the mod.


Blood Lust: Upon kill, grant the player Bloost Lust effect for 10 seconds.

Blunting: Afflicts Broken Armor Effect for 10 seconds.


Crushing: Upon crit, has a 6% chance to afflict Crippled effect.


Experience: Upon a hit, has a 50% chance to spawn XP. 


Tangle Vines: Upon a hit, afflicts Slowness I for 10 seconds. Has a 10% chance to double the amplifier and duration.


Venomous: Afflicts Poison I for five seconds.

Zoni’s Companions

This mod adds items you can craft in order to summon the new Companions!
The Companions can be equipped with weapons and armor to help you in battle.

If they perish don’t worry! As long as you have an empty Summon Device in your inventory they will return safely, and you can summon them again.

You can use the Companion Pendant to make them follow or stop following you.

Each Companion have a special ability!

Zombie Nightmare Expansions – Undead Horror Monsters

**Welcome to Zombie Nightmare Expansions, a new horror mod centred on adding new undead monsters with unique nightmarish mechanics.**

DISEMBOWELER

Large, monstrous zombie with entrails hanging out, seeking blood and vengeance. Lumbers around looking for players and cows to consume, with attacks packing a heavy punch. Drops “corrupted heart” items on death.

TORMENTED STEVE

A hideous monstrosity disguising itself as a regular player (eight player skin variants). When stationary, it resembles the normal skin, but as soon as it moves, the true nightmarish form comes out. Sometimes found hanging from ceilings ready to drop on your head. A very strong and vicious opponent, dropping enchanted golden apples on death. 

BLOOD EAGLE

A huge demon/dragon-like zombie with appendages made entirely from stretched out flesh, and sporting a set of razor-sharp teeth. Capable of both flying and walking, sometimes attacking from the air with spit projectiles or from the ground with melee – Eats pigs. Very strong, plus tameable and rideable (tamed with 10 corrupted hearts, configurable to disable taming).

BRUTALISER

MINIBOSS. A huge, strong zombie that can smash the ground to create block shockwaves dealing devastating damage and knockback on impact. You can jump over shockwaves or evade them – whenever you move close to attack, be sure to evade quickly before it gets the chance to strike! Attacks sheep and drops a “Deathly Onyx” on death, used for crafting a special staff item that lets you repulse nearby undead mobs (right click hold) and even summon crawling minions (ground left click ability, charges up to 5 stored summons by killing undead while it is in your inventory).

SKIN CRAWLER

The weakest enemy in the mod, but more relentless than any other. Capable of camouflaging itself by changing colour to match the blocks around it, and breaking through stone, deepslate, tuff, granite, diorite, andesite, and netherrack to get to you (this can be disabled in config). Moreover, it can climb walls and crawl through tight spaces, making it hard to avoid fully. Also attacks chickens.

SPINE WRENCHER

A tall, thin entity with tendril-like arms and a related appearance to the blood eagle, perhaps coming from a similar origin. This entity has to be close to spot you, unless you look directly at it. If you do so, then it will notice and come running towards your location. Given how thin it is, it has become fragile, so if you block its attacks with a shield, it will take damage whenever it tries to attack, providing a strong way of countering it. It is more than two blocks tall, but can crouch down to get through smaller gaps. Drops “Distorted Vertebrae” on death, used for crafting a powerful whip item.

Staff of the Undead crafting recipe includes both the Deathly Onyx and two Deathly Heart items, along with some vanilla components:

🧟 ZomBuild: Evolution of the Undead

ZomBuild is a sophisticated AI-overhaul mod that transforms standard zombies from a simple nuisance into a persistent, strategic threat. No longer hindered by walls, pits, or traditional player defenses, these zombies possess the ability to adapt to their environment, build pathways to their prey, and dismantle any obstacle in their path.

🛠 Key Features

🏗 Intelligent Construction

Obstacles that once offered safety are now merely building opportunities for the undead.

Vertical Pillaring: If a target is positioned above, the zombie will jump and place cobblestone blocks beneath itself to ascend.
Bridge Building: Upon detecting a gap or ravine between itself and the player, the zombie will construct a bridge to continue the pursuit.

🔨 Dynamic Destruction

Your fortress is no longer impenetrable.

Breaching Walls: If a direct path is blocked, zombies will methodically mine through blocks to create a breach.
Vertical Mining: If the player is hiding below ground, zombies will dig straight down to reach them.

🚫 Anti-Trap Mechanics (Vehicle Egress)

Zombies have evolved to recognize and nullify common player traps.

Instant Dismount: Zombies will immediately exit boats or minecarts if they are forced into them.
Vehicle Neutralization: Upon exiting a vehicle, the zombie prioritizes attacking and destroying it to ensure it can no longer be used as a restraint.

👁 Enhanced Perception (X-Ray Sense)

Zombies now possess an innate sense of survivor presence. They can track players through any solid material within a 16-block radius, ignoring standard line-of-sight limitations.

🌑 Light Suppression

The undead prefer the dark. When not actively pursuing a player, zombies will seek out and destroy torches and other light sources, systematically plunging your base into darkness before a siege.

⚙️ Technical Overview

Goal Prioritization: The AI utilizes a strict hierarchy of tasks: breaking restraints first, followed by direct combat, and finally construction/destruction.
Performance Optimized: The mod is written with server performance in mind, utilizing asynchronous logic where possible to minimize TPS impact.
Diurnal Adaptation: Zombies under the ZomBuild AI do not burn in sunlight, making them a constant threat regardless of the time of day.

ZomBilliard Balls

Remember how creepers drop music discs when killed by skeletons? Have you ever thought “Wouldn’t it be cool if there was more collectibles you could get by making mobs kill each other?” No? Me neither. This datapack came to me in an incredibly strange dream, so I decided, why not make it a reality?

In this datapack, you can get all 15 billiard balls, along with a cue ball, by forcing a skeleton to kill a zombie. They come in slightly varying rarities, with 1-7 and 9-15 being of Rare rarity (Aqua color, higher chance of dropping), and the 8 and cue balls being of Epic rarity (Magenta/Light Purple color, lower chance of dropping).

# Zombified Player

This Mod **spawns a zombified version of the player after death**.

## Features
– spawns a zombified version of the player after death
– uses the players actuall skin (uses the steve skin as fallback)
– applies a zombified overlay to the skin
– the dead players inventory can be tranfered to his zombified version

The zombified player mob will use the same skin as the player (with a zombify overlay). Besides that the mob behaves like a regular zombie, but it will not burn in sunlight and it will not despawn.

With a config option it is possible to **transfer the players inventory to the zombified player**. The player will have to fight and defeat the zombified version of himself to get back the items he lost after dying.
