*Featuring the [Empire Minecraft Utilities] mod!*

Don’t want to update your Quilt mods? Let me do it for you! I set up this here modpack that downloads the latest of a predefined set of mods, meant primarily for use on the [Empire Minecraft server](https://ref.emc.gs/triphora). This is an easier way to download one thing to get all the mods included instead of having to download 60+ separate mods.

The focus of this modpack is to have a wide selection of client-side mods, including the very best performance mods. It includes some optional tools, aesthetic changes, etc. that very few people would actually utilise, such as Critical Orientation or WorldEdit. The installer will prompt you at installation whether you wish to install these optional mods or not.

Feel free to remove or add any (compatible, [approved]) mods!

**Please read the [Conditionally Approved] mods page before using some mods included.**

After installation, I recommend you lower your GUI scale – I use 3 personally – and change your key binds to however you like them. There will be a lot of conflicts initially!

## Installation

You may follow [the Modrinth modpack installation instructions](https://docs.modrinth.com/modpacks) for manual updates, or follow the instructions below to automatically update the pack.

### Auto Update via MultiMC, Prism Launcher, ATLauncher (preferred)

1. Create a new instance.
2. Select the “Import from zip” option, and paste the following into the text box labeled “Local file or link to a direct download”.
* `https://modpack.pages.dev/MultiMC.zip`
3. Click “Launch” to run the pack. You should see a dialog appear that prompts you to select optional mods. Select, and play!
4. After installing, I recommend you lower your GUI scale (I use 2 personally) and change your key binds how you like them. There will be a lot of conflicts initially!

#### I want to disable some required mods!

### Manual Update via Default Launcher

#### Windows

1. Download the [Packwiz Installer Bootstrap] and put it into your Minecraft folder; the base or “root” of it, *not* into the `mods` folder.
* If you don’t know how to navigate here, open the Run box with Win + R, and type `%appdata%.minecraft`.
2. Open the Command Prompt using Win + R and `cmd`. From there, run the following commands:

4. `java -jar packwiz-installer-bootstrap.jar https://modpack.pages.dev/pack.toml`
* If you get a message along the lines of “not found as command, batch file, yadda yadda”, you need to [install Java].
5. After installing, I recommend you lower your GUI scale (I use 2 personally) and change your key binds how you like them. There will be a lot of conflicts initially!
6. When you want to update your mods, just run the same `java -jar` command again!

#### Unix (Linux, Mac)

* The Minecraft folder is probably located at `~/.minecraft/` on Linux and `~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/` on Mac.

Waffle Client is a optimization modpacks based on sodium/lithium that gives you top notch optimization while letting you freely edit what mods you want to put inside. We also tried to preserve the look and feel of minecraft and there are no custom content or mechanics added in this modpack. **”Vanilla was never an option” (VWNAO)** is meant to be a complete but simple modpack, whether for your two weeks Minecraft addiction or just your everyday usage. It consists of dozens of small QoL & optimization mods combined all together to optimise your gameplay and make it more enjoyable, comfortable to use. I initially made this modpack for some friends but as they seemed to like it, I’ve decided to release it here so that everyone can enjoy it!

# Vuurwerkshow modpack
Een panorama resourcepack voor de vuurwerkshow van 2023-2024 met oud & nieuw op de Torchcraft server! Deze modpack heb ik gemaakt zodat iedereen de vuurwerkshow met goede performance en zelfs shaders kan kijken om de beste ervaring te hebben.

## Functies modpack
Deze modpack zorgt ervoor dat je met betere performance en dus betere FPS naar de Torchcraft vuurwerkshow kan komen kijken. Ook bevat de modpack handige shaders, resourcepacks en andere tools om mooie screenshots van de show te maken of video’s.

## Uitleg
Elk jaar organiseren we met een aantal spelers op de Nederlands server Torchcraft een vuurwerkshow op het einde van het jaar om samen oud & nieuw te vieren. We beginnen de avond met een toespraak waarop daarna de vuurwerkshow volgt die zo een 10 minuten duurt. Daarna hebben we tal van leuke activiteiten zoals giveaways, dammen, 4 op een rij en nog veel meer! De show vindt dit jaar plaats op 27/12, aankondiging volgt binnenkort.
