**Do you feel that Vanilla just isn’t as fun as it once was? Do you have that urge to play, but you quit within minutes? Is it just not the same anymore?**
I made a mod pack to capture the feeling of discovering Minecraft again, where it’s your first night again. Making Minecraft more immersive and beautiful was the goal.
This mod pack is both performance and QOL heavy.
Due to all the extra mods to make the game feel more modern and alive, this also includes pretty much every mod I could find to improve performance, along with a lot of QoL/Bug fixes and tweaks that veterans and newbies would like.

> Q. Is this mod compatible with vanilla servers?
– A. 99% of them will work on servers with a few exceptions like the tabs feature on Inventory Profiles Next(disabled by default), etc.
> Q. Why is there so much bloat?
– A. It’s a mix of QOL and performance, and really, if you’re looking for performance, just install [Sodium](https://modrinth.com/mod/sodium) and [Lithium](https://modrinth.com/mod/lithium). (Or download a performance focused pack) They do about 80-90% of the work on their own. Everything else is just a bigger number contest.

Vanillaish
This modpack was inspired from the Aged modpack, but I thought that it felt that is was missing some features and some features in it didn’t feel like Minecraft. So I made my own modpack! This modpack was originaly created for my friends and I to play on a server together on.

**FABRIC:** While the latest version of Fabric for 1.21.1 should be compatible, it’s possible that it may cause an older mod in the modpack to break. In such a case, the version of Fabric currently included in the modpack is 0.16.10
**OptiFine:** By default, OptiFine is not compatible with Vanilla Ventures because it contains some pre-installed optimization mods. Therefore, you must remove the listed mods below in order to load the pack with OptiFine.

# FAQ
Q: Is there support for a version other than 1.21?
A: There most likely will be support for versions after 1.21, but it will likely take a while for the updates to roll in due to the modpack having ~100 mods.

Q: Will this run on my machine?
A: For the most part, yeah! Even though this modpack has ~100 mods, none of them are too heavyweight.. This, along with the fact that there are a ton of optimizations mods, makes for an experience almost everyone can enjoy no matter their hardware.
Q: Where are the shaders?
A: I decided not to add native shaders to this. No need to worry though! The modpack still has Iris so you can add your own shaders and customize them however you feel. However, keep in mind that not all the mods here have shader support, which can cause visual bugs and artifacts.
