🧟 ZomBuild: Evolution of the Undead

ZomBuild is a sophisticated AI-overhaul mod that transforms standard zombies from a simple nuisance into a persistent, strategic threat. No longer hindered by walls, pits, or traditional player defenses, these zombies possess the ability to adapt to their environment, build pathways to their prey, and dismantle any obstacle in their path.

🛠 Key Features

🏗 Intelligent Construction

Obstacles that once offered safety are now merely building opportunities for the undead.

Vertical Pillaring: If a target is positioned above, the zombie will jump and place cobblestone blocks beneath itself to ascend.
Bridge Building: Upon detecting a gap or ravine between itself and the player, the zombie will construct a bridge to continue the pursuit.

🔨 Dynamic Destruction

Your fortress is no longer impenetrable.

Breaching Walls: If a direct path is blocked, zombies will methodically mine through blocks to create a breach.
Vertical Mining: If the player is hiding below ground, zombies will dig straight down to reach them.

🚫 Anti-Trap Mechanics (Vehicle Egress)

Zombies have evolved to recognize and nullify common player traps.

Instant Dismount: Zombies will immediately exit boats or minecarts if they are forced into them.
Vehicle Neutralization: Upon exiting a vehicle, the zombie prioritizes attacking and destroying it to ensure it can no longer be used as a restraint.

👁 Enhanced Perception (X-Ray Sense)

Zombies now possess an innate sense of survivor presence. They can track players through any solid material within a 16-block radius, ignoring standard line-of-sight limitations.

🌑 Light Suppression

The undead prefer the dark. When not actively pursuing a player, zombies will seek out and destroy torches and other light sources, systematically plunging your base into darkness before a siege.

⚙️ Technical Overview

Goal Prioritization: The AI utilizes a strict hierarchy of tasks: breaking restraints first, followed by direct combat, and finally construction/destruction.
Performance Optimized: The mod is written with server performance in mind, utilizing asynchronous logic where possible to minimize TPS impact.
Diurnal Adaptation: Zombies under the ZomBuild AI do not burn in sunlight, making them a constant threat regardless of the time of day.

ZombPlayer

# Introduction

This mod will spawn a zombified player when a player is killed by zombified creature.

## Features

– When a player is killed by zombified creature (including husks, drowneds etc.), a zombie will be spawned in the place.
– The zombie will inherit player’s equipment and inventory. Players need to kill the zombie to retrieve them. _This feature won’t work when the gamerule `keepInventory` is set to true._
– The head of the zombie is same as the player’s, and will drop if killed by a __charged creeper__.
– The zombie will convert to the drowned when drowned like normal zombies.
– The zombie won’t burn in sunlight.
– Type command `/gamerule doPlayerInfected [false/true]` to switch the mod. (Default true)

ZomBilliard Balls

Remember how creepers drop music discs when killed by skeletons? Have you ever thought “Wouldn’t it be cool if there was more collectibles you could get by making mobs kill each other?” No? Me neither. This datapack came to me in an incredibly strange dream, so I decided, why not make it a reality?

In this datapack, you can get all 15 billiard balls, along with a cue ball, by forcing a skeleton to kill a zombie. They come in slightly varying rarities, with 1-7 and 9-15 being of Rare rarity (Aqua color, higher chance of dropping), and the 8 and cue balls being of Epic rarity (Magenta/Light Purple color, lower chance of dropping).

# Zombified Player

This Mod **spawns a zombified version of the player after death**.

## Features
– spawns a zombified version of the player after death
– uses the players actuall skin (uses the steve skin as fallback)
– applies a zombified overlay to the skin
– the dead players inventory can be tranfered to his zombified version

The zombified player mob will use the same skin as the player (with a zombify overlay). Besides that the mob behaves like a regular zombie, but it will not burn in sunlight and it will not despawn.

With a config option it is possible to **transfer the players inventory to the zombified player**. The player will have to fight and defeat the zombified version of himself to get back the items he lost after dying.

Zombification

This mod contains 1 new potion that changes mobs into their zombie counterparts. These are the conversions that are currently possible.

This potion can be brewed by using a rotten flesh and potion of Poison.

Zombies Slow You

## Hey, how come no one made this kind of datapack yet?

Basically, once a zombie hits you, your Movement Speed attribute will be multiplied by 0.25 (equivalent to Slowness V) and
– _for versions 1.21 and above:_ Multiplies your Jump Strength attribute by 0.
– _for versions below 1.21:_ Jump Boost 128.

Zombies Reworked is a mod that overhauls and changes the zombies in a better way! Ranging from small features to better AI system and better mechanics to make the mod a must need for apocalyptic minecraft modpacks. This mod has some code that our other mod, Rotted has, but better! This mod is pretty lightweight but also heavy configurable as it does not add that much content!

Now drowned zombies can be captured when…fishing?? Not only that, but players can turn into zombies now just as villagers can turn into zombie villagers! Zombies are smart enough to use items and perform certain actions? Yes! Everything in one place, put it all together in this particular mod!

– Zombies can now spot you from further away, meaning that they will come to ur house from anywhere.

– If u hurt a zombie, it will alert all other close ones, giving them your location.

– Zombies can now stay in groups, following each other around.

– When fishing, you have a chance to capture a drowned zombie.

Powerups provide benefits to the players that have various effects on them and the mobs. These benefits range from healing the durability of every single item in player’s inventories to killing most hostile mobs.

– Carpenter

Heals every durable item to be full durability in a player’s inventory
– Nuke

Burns and heavily weakens mobs and kills them when 5 seconds has passed
– Max Ammo

Set the count of every item to be the highest the limit for the item allows for in a player’s inventory
– Max Armour

Heals only items in a player’s armour slot to be full durability
– Instakill

Makes mobs 1-hit that last for 60 seconds
