Thom’s Mod
This mod was created to add more variety to the base vanilla game. The goal is to give the player more options when exploring and building their bases or homes. Features that have been added so far include:
– This includes a new block type, the vertical slab, and more block shapes to existing blocks that allows for more options when base building.
– 20+ crops and 20+ trees to give more options for decoration and base building.
– New food items to add variety and add additional status effects.
– Around 10 new biomes and new structures to improve exploration and where new mobs and foilage will spawn.
– A few new mobs like wizards, mummies, and ghosts to add some more complexity to what is fought in combat.
– New animals like elephants and penguins that will also improve exploration.
– A wearable backpack to add more inventory space.
– Wearable banners for players that want to team up and form clans.
– New villager types to add more trading options for players.
– The scythe and hammer have been added to make farming and mining a bit more efficient but not overpowered.
– And lastly a new boss, the Pharaoh, that can be found in the depths of the pyramid.
– Newest edition now includes a magic system with close to 50 spells.
This mod is made for Minecraft version 1.20.4 and for Forge version 1.20.4 – 49.1.0
This mod has one dependency, TerraBlender 1.20.4-3.3.0.12.

Thitriset(Rusted Meat)
🥩 RUSTED MEAT: END HUNGER PERMANENTLY 🥩
Are you tired of being constantly interrupted by a shrinking food bar? Frustrated that just a few steps after eating a full steak, you’re already hungry again? It seems Vanilla food sources are just too weak for the demands of a true Minecraft warrior.
Fear not, Rusted Meat has arrived to save your stomach!
💡 THE INSPIRATION
Born from the nightmare of “starving to death” in the middle of a major construction project or while facing down a Boss, Rusted Meat was created as a source of super-compressed energy. It allows you to maintain your peak stamina for many times longer than normal.
🛠 CRAFTING RITUAL (QUICK CRAFT)
No fancy ovens or crafting tables required! You can craft Rusted Meat right in the field by dropping the following items on the ground:
🥩 Cooked Beef: Any amount (You will receive one Rusted Meat for every Cooked Beef dropped).
⚙️ 1 Iron Nugget: The essential catalyst needed to create the energy-packed “rusted” layer.
In the blink of an eye, your ordinary beef will be “ironized,” transforming into the most durable food item you have ever seen!
🔥 GOD-TIER SATURATION EFFECT
Why is it called the “King of Meats”? Because of its incredible effect:
Instant Saturation Buff: The moment you eat it, you receive an intensely powerful Saturation effect that lasts for a full 60 seconds.
What it does: For one entire minute, your food bar will not decrease, no matter how much you run, jump, or fight. It’s like having a constant, direct supply of energy delivered straight to your bloodstream!

## Thirst Mechanics
Thirsty adds a hydration system that works alongside vanilla hunger mechanics.
– Players have internal **thirst** and **hydration** values.
– Thirst only decreases through **player actions** — AFK players won’t suddenly die of thirst.
– In **Peaceful Mode**, thirst and hydration are automatically replenished.
– Includes a **custom advancement tree** to track progression.
**Ways to restore thirst**
– Drinking water bottles or potions
– Eating water-rich foods
– Sipping directly from natural water sources
Thirst System Details
Thirst works similarly to hunger and saturation:
– **th_thirst** → visible bar (0–20, starts at 20)
– **th_hydration** → hidden buffer (0–20, starts at 5)
Hydration is always consumed **before** visible thirst.
| Category / Items | Thirst (visible) | Hydration (hidden) |
|————————————-|—————–:|——————-:|
| Drinks (Water Bottle, Potions) | 8 | 6 |
| Sipping from source (Every 80 ticks)| 2 | 1 |
| Stews | 6 | 5 |
| Milk | 6 | 4 |
| Hearty Fruits (Melon Slice) | 4 | 2 |
| Fruits | 3 | 1 |
| Special (Honey Bottle, Golden Apple)| 2 | 0 |
| Negative (Cause thrist, Dried Kelp) | 0 | 0 |
*Note: thirst decreases through sprinting, swimming, jumping, and combat. The **Thirst** status effect accelerates this drain.*
—
## Sipping System
– **Sneak + look** at a water block to drink directly from it.
– Requires **80 ticks (~4s)** to complete.
– Restores **+2 Thirst** and **+1 Hydration**.
– Intentionally slow to balance risk vs convenience.
– Disabled by default — can be enabled in the settings menu.
– Each player has an **independent** sipping configuration.
—
## Thirst Status Effect
– Applied by eating dried kelp or being attacked by a drowned.
– Lasts **30 seconds** and accelerates thirst drain.
– Visual feedback: greenish HUD bar and particles.
– Instantly cured by drinking **Milk**.
—
## Multiplayer and Language Support
– Built with **multiplayer compatibility** in mind (still experimental).
– Available languages: English, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish (Mexico), French, German.
– Resource pack system allows easy addition of new translations.
—
## Final Notes
Known limitation: Custom HUD may temporarily disappear when interacting with beds during daytime or when consuming potions, due to engine behavior in recent Minecraft versions.

Thirsty Bottles
This mod makes glass bottles consume the block of water that they are used on. This can be helpful for preventing water duplication in modpacks where water blocks are not meant to be infinite. This also encourages players to use cauldrons for filling water bottles as a cauldron will be more efficient than a source block.

ThirstWasTaken-UnofficialFabric
This is the unofficial version of the mod Thirst Was Taken, ported to the Fabric platform, adds a thirst mechanic to the game
💧 Water Purity
Water can have 4 different levels of purity, depending on where it was harvested
If you drink non-purified water, depending on the purity level, you will have a chance to get sick, or worse, poisoned.
Water can be purified on a campfire or a furnace: a campfire will purify it by 1 unit, and a furnace by 2 (meaning it will go from Dirty to Acceptable, for instance).

💧 HUD Overlay

💧 What’s the difference?
– You cannot directly boil bottled water over the campfire
– You cannot use a campfire or a furnace to boil the bucket of water
These issues are caused by differences in platforms. I will try to fix them
💧Collaboration with other mods
I’m very sorry, but unfortunately I don’t have enough time to complete this task
But no one can be sure. What if one day I have some free time? Right?
Thirst Was Taken

### 💧 1.3.0 Update
– 1.20.1 is now supported (thanks to mlus233)
– **Fire protection** and **fire resistance** slow down dehydration
– You can **find** various **drinks** in structures’ chests
– Piglins now trade **Purified Water**
– The Sand Filter now has a **Ponder** scene
**Thirst was Taken** is a simple mod that adds a thirst mechanic to the game, but that fits well in modpacks (especially aesthetics-oriented ones) by adding diverse features and compatibility with a lot of often-used mods.
### 💧 Water Purity
Water can have 4 different levels of purity, depending on where it was harvested:

If you **drink non-purified water**, depending on the purity level, you will have a chance to get **sick**, or worse, **poisoned**.
Water can be **purified** on a **campfire** or a **furnace**: a campfire will purify it by 1 unit, and a furnace by 2 (meaning it will go from Dirty to Acceptable, for instance).

### ☀ Climate & Cold Sweat
The **hydration depletion** speed is **biome-dependent**, meaning you will get thirsty more easily in **hot** or **dry** biomes, and less so in **cold** or **wet** ones. Hydration is more relevant than temperature, so building your base in wet biomes is more advisable than doing so in cold ones.
This system is also compatible with **Cold Sweat**, and will use their more precise temperature calculations if the mod is present in the pack.
### 🍖 Farmer’s Delight & Co.
The stack size for **water bottles** has been increased to **64**, to make them fit with the foods from Farmer’s Delight.
Every food item that should quench your thirst added by farmer’s delight, respite, and brewin and chewin’ is integrated by default, making teas (or booze) the **best late-game hydration source**.
### ⚙ Create
A new block is added if you have Create installed: the **Sand Filter**, which can purify water fed to it by pipes.

### 💧 Apple Skin
The mod is compatible with apple skin, showing the “quenched” overlay if the mod is present, as well as tooltips for every item that quenches your thirst.

##### To learn more about the mod, you can check out the Wiki or the Discord
##### This mod is still very early in development, which means it’s filled to the brim with bugs and glitches. Sorry
