A re-texture of the Creeper using methods similar to the original. My aim was to match the existing art as much as I possibly could (though I’m not much of an artist lol), and also to provide a nice balance between the old and new.
This is based on the modern leaves texture from current Minecraft, for obvious reasons 😛
I looked at the original uncropped texture from an earlier version to match various details. Many people miss that the body actually has some very light detailing, which is included on here. The background color on the original was a white/grey color (I can’t quite tell), but I opted to go for a greenish hue to match the current promotional art.
You might say this doesn’t blend in with the grass as much, which is kind of a byproduct of how the game evolved. Minecraft started with only one biome, grass, which let the Creeper blend in easier. The moment a snow environment was added that point was lost. So I’d say blending in is a non-issue nowadays, for better or for worse.
This also comes with a Spawn Egg.

This texture pack makes the ghast make a funny face when it throws a fireball.
This pack does not require Optifine or EMF, ETF, or ETF to work.
It works on versions lower than 1.21.5.

# What if Xray was inconvenient?
## XRAYn’t: a silly resource pack for those looking for an original challenge
You may wonder “How did you have this idea” and I’d tell you “idk I messed around with Blockbench”.
Anyway, here’s my resource pack which features invisible ores, invisible creepers, and other inconvenient changes that I think you should find out by yourself!
Brought by yours truly, June.
_PS: Do not use this pack for cheating, consider it as a challenge for Minecraft_

## Description
For the best experience, use version 1.21.4 or above. Below that, the enchantment glint will be present on the xp bottle. This pack was tested on version 1.21.9. This pack is incompatible with shaders.
This is a pack that changes experience points into coins. It retextures the experience bar, experience bottle, the orbs themselves with an animation, it adds new sounds, recolors some text, and uses the language file to change some names of things.
This pack was made for the [One Texture at a Time](https://www.planetminecraft.com/jam/onetextureatatime/) ranked texture pack jam. I chose to retexture the experience orb, which itself is displayed in the experience bar ui and also has a corresponding item texture (the experience bottle). Since it’s impossible to animate entity textures with a texture pack, I had to use core shaders to shrink the uv and snap it to different points in the textures based off the GameTime variable. I also wanted to make the experience bottle into a sack of coins, but it felt off with the forced crashing sound the game makes. I also had to use core shaders to remove the enchantment glint on the bottle, remove the particles from the bottle when it hits the ground, recolor the text in different uis to match the coins, and remove the green tint from the experience orbs.
Thanks to [girlthatbites](https://www.planetminecraft.com/member/girlthatbites/) for creating the textures and the icon, as well as [P4ncake](https://www.planetminecraft.com/member/p4ncake/) for creating the sounds.

The last continuing resource pack faithfully following the style of [the first Faithful 64x pack](https://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding-java-edition/resource-packs/1242446-faithful-64×64).
For many years I carefully selected and modified textures from various packs. Recently, it turned out that I have the last resource pack for the current version of Minecraft, which looks like [the original Faithful 64x by HiTeeN](https://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding-java-edition/resource-packs/1242446-faithful-64×64). I decided to share it.

### What is Xenocontendi?
> “Xenocontendi is a resource pack with a smooth texture style, and a heavy focus on color use. Another important trait is that building blocks stay close to the appearance of vanilla textures.”
### Why Revive Xenocontendi?
I used this resource pack a lot when playing MC as a kid. I loved its simplicity, its colors and its vanilla-friendly style. I was and still am a Xenocontendi lover…But I was disappointed to find that Xenocontendi was never updated past MC 1.8……So I BROUGHT IT BACK!!
See something broken or vanilla texture that I missed? Leave a comment! I’d appreciate the feedback/notes!
