What does it mean to know oneself? You must understand your actions, the world around you, how that world affects you, and how you impact it in kind.
Your Minecraft world is no different, well, except for one thing.
Between us and our beloved land of voxels is an inpreceptable barrier, one not only restricting your physical access but your mental and spiritual access as well. Of course, I’m talking about the barrier to the entire digital second space that makes up our modern world, what I call “the barrier of the screen.”
Our devices have gotten better over the ages, and we’ve rapidly worked to cross this barrier to observe our digital world in its raw form. Alas, we are not there yet, even information itself has a speed limit set not by man, king, institution, government, nor god, but by the laws of physics. The universe itself is the sole governing body in total control of how we perceive the world, how light is emitted from the screens, and hits our retinas. We crave more.
As humans often do, we long for more information, more understanding, more connection to what’s going on in our humble computers… more power. So thirsty for this connection, so lost in our quest, some dedicate their careers to this innately human quest, the quest for a higher FPS.
I come to you today, humbled by such an important drive. My offering to this higher calling is a meager one, but I believe in its importance nonetheless. I am no genius, I am no pioneer, and I will not be on the front lines in our battle as a species against the barrier of the screen.

That being said, there are a few things you should know!
1. This pack is designed with `16:9` screens in mind, specifically `1080×1920` resolutions playing in windowed or full-screen mode. However, testing on other screens and resolutions indicates there should be little to no adverse effects even if you’re playing on phones or ultra-wide screens.
2. Some mods included are disabled by default, either due to incompatibility or redundancy with included mods, or because they lack the customization necessary to fit into WIMP. Re-enable at your own risk!

### ✨ Intuitive quality-of-life improvements 🧬
Countless QoL mods have been added, each playing an important role in the modpack. The essential **AppleSkin** shows you the potential hunger restored while holding food. **Auto HUD** lets you admire the beautiful world by automatically hiding and showing the hotbar, and as a complement, **Dynamic Crosshair** displays useful information right on your crosshair.
There are also many “Better” mods, but **Better Third Person** is especially great if you enjoy playing in third person. If you prefer the first-person view, **First-person Model** allows you to see your own body just like in real life. Another excellent QoL mod is **InvMove**, which lets you move while using your inventory.
In game, you’ll never see annoying pop-ups, but if you prefer having them, you can easily configure toasts in the **No More Pop-ups** config via **Mod Menu**.
### 📈 An optimized experience 🔧
You don’t have 32Gb RAM, a powerful graphic card, or a high-end chip? No problem! Many mods are included to optimize Minecraft’s performance, **Sodium** is one of the most well-known. But there is also **Dynamic FPS**, which reduces memory usage when the game window is unfocused. **ImmediatelyFast** optimizes all immediate mode rendering, while **Concurrent Chunk Management Engine** improves chunk performance. **Entity Culling** is also used to hide blocks and entities that aren’t visible.
You can check **Opions Profiles** menu to instantly load custom settings based on your PC’s performance. There are 4 presets available:
– Default: The default setup (tested on a Mac Mini M2)
– Performance: No shaders, fast rendering, maximum possible FPS
– Balanced: Uses shaders, offers a middle ground between Performance and Quality
– Quality: Uses shaders, provides maximum visual fidelity, best for powewrful PCs
### 🎨 A fresh look at a beautiful UI ✨
The new UI starts at the launch of the game, a little but appreciated mod **Dark Loading Screen**, after, you’ll remark a revisited menu thanks to **FancyMenu**. All the GUI has also changed by the **Recolourfull Containers GUI + HUD (DARK)** resource pack. You’ll also notice that there are a lot of icons into the buttons, they are created by **Icons**. All this new UI is now smooth when they appeared (**Smooth Gui**), when you scroll (**Smooth Scrolling**) and more. Some resource packs and mods has little UI bugs, so I created **WildLight compat** mod to patch them manually for a better experience.
### 🛜 Multiplayer 🌍
This modpack is great to play solo, but it’s even better to enjoy with friends using [Wabbanode](http://wabbanode.com/affiliate/wildlight). Several mods are included to enhance the multiplayer experience.
For chat, **Better Selection** makes texte asier and more pleasant to select, while **Chat Heads** displays player avatar in the chat, just like profile pictures next to message. And finally, I know how annoying it is when you accidentally hit a friend and all the dogs start attacking each other. Now you can calm them down with **Calm down, dog**.
## 🔧 Recommendation
It is recommended to allocate at least 4GB of RAM to Minecraft. This helps ensure smoother performance and reduces lag.

Wild Wasteland
Inspired by Fallout, Underrail, and dreams of the apocalypse, Wild Wasteland aims to create a fun survival and looting mod with a core focus around Scorched Guns 2.
Featuring custom world generation, you can hop right into a new world ready for a cohesive and bleak experience. Scavenge through the cities covering the surface and craft weapons ready to take out the nightmare hordes lurking in the dark.

This is my first modpack and I am open to additional mods to add for fun and challenge as well as of course critique. The initial release is focused on overworld gameplay though I would like to see about improving the nether and end experience as well.
**Getting Started**
Health regeneration in this requires both water and food, you’ll be able to purify water with repeated bonfire use of dirty water bottles, but should consider getting this process automated with the tools at your disposal.
**NOTE**
The world generation makes the Jungle Temple, Woodland Mansion, and some of the biome variants of villages impossible to generate, along with a few of the structures found in the mods used. Using the locate structure command can cause a soft freeze on the game if a structure that didn’t generate is entered. This is a documented bug — https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC/issues/MC-269520
It is recommended to use at least 4096mb of allocated memory during gameplay to avoid system issues.

### What is this?
This is a modpack (obviously) that takes mechanics from the legend of zelda BOTW; notably, the new (or lack of) hunger system, hunger is GONE! Food restores your health, and gets consumed almost immediately, as well as the BOTW stamina wheel. There is a small bout of new items available like new bows & arrows.
