## **What is the Nostalgia Shader?**
This shaderpack is intended to reproduce the look and feel of the “old” shaderpacks from back when the shadersmod was new. However it also builds ontop of that with new features and superior performance. Accidentally it also has some similarities to the now cancelled “Super Duper Graphics Pack”.

## **What features does it offer?**
* Dynamic soft shadows
* Optional screen-space path-tracing (SSPT)
* Temporal Anti-Aliasing (TAA)
* Vanilla style volumetric clouds with multiple cloud layers (the first of their kind)
* they also rely on the cloud texture provided by your resourcepack
* Screen-space reflections and optional offscreen environment reflections (when enabling the reflection capture)
* Volumetric fog
* labPBR resourcepack support
* Various optional lens effects such as depth of field, lens flares and vignette
and many, many more.

## **Any Requirements?**
* OptiFine for 1.16 or newer or Iris 1.5.0 or newer
* A graphics card that supports OpenGL 4.3 or newer
* Windows/Linux

# Neon Skylines 2.2

This shader is inspired by the night vision effects from the game HALO ODST, using edge detection to outline the terrain and entities. Now you too can feel like you’ve just dropped from orbit into a blocky, unfamiliar world. The sensitivity of the edge detector and the outline colors are fully customizable. Try it with low brightness settings!

**What is MCPT?**

MCPT is a Minecraft shader meant for taking high quality, photorealistic screenshots. It is a brute-force spectral volumetric path tracer that makes use of hardware raytracing through Vulkanite. These shaders are not meant for gameplay as they require you to stand still and wait for the image to render.

### _**WARNING**_

MCPT requires Vulkanite, which is currently in a very unstable and buggy state, so there is no gaurantee that these shaders will work on your system (specifically AMD cards). For the best chances of getting these shaders to run, **follow these requirements exactly:**

### **IMPORTANT: If your game crashes on startup, try adding this to your launch arguments: `-Dorg.lwjgl.system.stackSize=8192`**

**How to Use**

Press F1 to begin a render, and F2 to take a screenshot.

**Feedback**

As Vulkanite is very unstable, you’ll find a lot of bugs in the shader. There’s a 99% chance that a bug you find is due to Vulkanite and not the shaders. For reporting non-Vulkanite issues and requesting features, feel free to DM me on discord: johnpayne.
