# Overview
**Seoul Metro 3000 Series (서울교통공사 3000호대 초퍼제어 전동차)** are trains running on the Seoul Metro network. They were produced by Daewoo Heavy Industries and Hanjin Heavy Industries between 1984 and 1993. They were originally in 6 cars, with all the trains gradually gaining new carriages between 1990 and 1993 to form a 10-car train.
These trains initially ran on lines 3 and 4 (and are called 3000 and 4000 series, respectively) until Seoul Metro introduced the new 4000 series, which enables all 4000 series trains to move to either lines 2 or 3.
The first batch of these trains was replaced by the new 3000 series during 2009 and 2010, with some intermediate carriages saved from scrap as they’re still relatively new. Some of the intermediate carriages are modified into driving cars and returned to service. The entire fleet, including the modified 3000 series and the last batch of 3000 series, is retired from service in 2023.
This resource pack is to add the Seoul Metro 3000 Series (Chopper) into Minecraft with Minecraft Transit Railway mod, made by Navi_LX9702 in 2025.
