## What is Brimstone?
Brimstone is what Sulfur is called in the English Translation of the Christian Bible. [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sulfur#History:~:text=English%20translations%20of%20the%20Christian%20Bible%20referred%20to%20sulfur%20as%20%22brimstone%22.)
The name comes from Old English for ‘Burning Stone’, with ‘brim’ being derived from the Proto-Germanic root ‘bren’, (to burn).
## FAQ
### Why is the Sulfur Cube’s name unchanged? I thought ‘Brimstone Cube’ sounded weird, so I didn’t change it.
### Did you take the idea from Mogswamp’s latest YouTube Short? Yes.
### Does this require any external mods?
Nope. This Resource Pack does not need any external mods for it to function properly.
### Can you put this pack on CurseForge? I do not plan to put this pack on CurseForge, and probably never will.
Sulfur recipe consistency
# What does this pack do?
This pack adds recipe for sulfur blocks crafted from potent sulfur to be 9 blocks in result. That helps with consistency in recipes and makes it easier to storage and pack more sulfur.
## Sulfur Keeps Effects 🧪
Sulfur cubes retain some effects with a block, Invisibility, Levitation, and Slow falling, particles are hidden. Adds new equipment a potion that remove effects.
### Adds:
– Potion of Nullification.
– Sulfur Cubes with block keep Invisibility, Levitation, and Slow falling.
### Notes:
– Potion of Nullification is a potion, glowstone dust, honeycomb, and fermented spider eye.
## Sulfur Cubes Eat More Things 🍴
Sulfur cubes can eat things that aren’t full blocks, like repeaters, banners, and even powdered snow.
### Adds:
– Sulfur Cubes ability to eat almost everything.
### Notes:
– Some blocks are glitched, including glass, and honey.

## Updates
– V 1.4 Adds sulfur cube scaling with bonemeal to scale up, and spider eyes or fermented spider eyes to scale downwards. Echo shards cause the sulfur cube to become silent. Adds two new achievements for this. Bonemeals add 100% base scale. Spider eyes subtract 25% base scale, and fermented spider eyes subtract 50% base scale. All of these effects stack with each other but can be applied only once, a bucket resets the scaling effects.
Sulfur Caves Plus
**Sulfur Caves Plus** breathes life into the Sulfur Caves biome introduced in Minecraft 26.2.
It adds a **new status effect**, **Sulfur Spiders**, **Corrosion potions**, volcanic **Lava Geysers**, and **more ore variants** that generate naturally inside sulfur caves terrain.
A venomous spider variant that lurks exclusively in the Sulfur Caves biome.
It carries a **sulfur spike on its tail** and injects **Corrosion** on every bite.

### Lava Geysers
A volcanic geyser variant created when **Potent Sulfur** has **lava above it** and a **Magma Block below it**.
Lava Geysers:
– Launch entities upward like regular geysers.
– Deal fire damage and ignite entities.
– Emit dark volcanic particles with subtle ashy-orange magma tones.
– Spawn lava pops that scale with the geyser height.
– Generates naturally in **Basalt Deltas**.
Subtly Dungeons is a passion project designed to feel like a natural continuation of Minecraft. We take abandoned, classic vanilla concepts and “canon” features from spin-offs like Minecraft Dungeons and Minecraft Legends and add them directly into the game. The goal isn’t to drastically overhaul how Minecraft plays, but rather to add some of the pieces of the wider “universe” that feel like they’ve been missing, to expand your adventure, combat, and building potential!
We do this through a design philosophy we call Vanilla Parity. This means every new block, mob, biome, and mechanic is designed to feel as if Mojang had added it themselves. We want these features to blend right into your regular survival world. Instead of feeling like you’re playing a heavily modded game, it should just feel like you’ve just jumped ahead a few updates.
Whether you’re a veteran player looking for new challenges, a fan of the classic survival experience, or a builder looking for new blocks, there’s something here for you. Some features may not be your cup of tea, and many can be disabled via gamerules or through the native game options.

## Slow Down & Explore!
**The Tent**: Sleep through the night to skip darkness or rain without resetting your spawn point! It’s perfect for long expeditions where you don’t want to lose your home bed spawn
**Hunt and Gather**: Take time to hunt herds of animals, chasing them down as they run away from you! Or frolic through a forest foraging for mushrooms… just be sure they’re not poisonous!
**Campfire Changes**: Campfires are now crafted unlit. You can light them with a flint and steel, or simply by rubbing sticks together!

## A Living World
**Atmosphere**: Experience the world with the sounds of soft breezes, howling winds, and reactive screen shake for loud events like lightning or roars
**Soundtrack**: Explore to the tune of new tracks by Peter Hont, Crispin Hands, and other Minecraft music composers
**Strategic Fishing**: Fishing is no longer random. Different fish now inhabit specific biomes (Salmon in rivers, Cod in cold oceans, Tropical Fish in warm waters, etc.), which reward you for traveling!
**Lively Animals**: Watch as your farm animals search for cover from the rain, desert cats laze around during the day and come out at night, and spiders crawl realistically up walls

**_”Makes Things more Vibrant, lore-accurate, and Artistically Consistent”._**
**_(The purpose of this pack is to make the game more asteticaly consistent and have the vibe of if minecraft updated but kept the same cartoonishly vibrent style it had in -ALPHA-)._**
**This Resourcepack makes the grass and foliage colormap more vibrant to better match the very vibrant water and resemble the ALPHA & BETA Minecraft colors.**
**A lot of the item textures are more artistically consistent with Minecraft’s art style, more square, and the textures match what they’re supposed to represent better.**
**Some 3D items are now 2D sprites to be more consistent with the items that are already 2D.**
**All the food has animations when eaten, only works on 1.21.4+.**

**Furnace, Torch, XP Bottle, Eye of Ender, and Crying Obsidian are animated.**
**Cactuses “Cacti” have Arms, Dripstone, Mushrooms, & the Mace are 3D.**
**Leaf blocks are Dungeons style bushy.**
**There’s some special clouds you might see every once in awhile.**
**All the blocks that canonically should glow are now emmisive w/Continuity Mod.**
**The Ominous blocks, items, and effects are retextured with white eyes to resemble HIM.**
**All the weapons, tools, and armor have unique textures & shapes from each other instead of all being the same just with different colors.**
