Growing up, Minecraft updates felt like Christmas! But they sometimes feel a bit slow slow…

When Story Mode and Dungeons came out, I was obsessed with the new lore! Yet none of that ever made it into the actual game….

Instead of waiting for updates, I decided to bridge the gap myself. Barely Default connects the entire Minecraft canon while staying true to the vanilla art style

The Modern Look: I’ve updated “left-behind” textures to match Mojang’s current more detailed style.

The result is a world that feels refreshed and densely packed, but still familiar. I aim for you to be able to play with this pack for years and still have you learn new things about it!

Metallum

## Metallum
Metallum is an experimental rendering backend for Minecraft on macOS that uses Apple’s Metal API instead of OpenGL/Vulkan. It provides a more native rendering path and aims to improve performance and efficiency on Apple Silicon.

This project is still experimental. Performance, stability, and compatibility may vary depending on your system and installed mods. If you encounter bugs, please report them on GitHub.

– The preferred shaders are “Sildrus Shaders” in the overworld and “Complementary Shaders Reimagined” in the end/nether world.

– If you want to replace the current pack icon just overwrite one of the pack icons to `pack.png`.

– The original base model creator for the pack is said to have abandoned this pack and the Java porters struck out the “do not distribute” text as shown below and stated editing is allowed with credit given which I have done.

If the wandering trader looks broken… then there is likely another conflicting texture pack (two trader textures are overlapping each other from different packs)! To fix this just delete all wandering trader files and folders from the other pack. For example: if you are using “Mizuno’s 16 Craft Resource Pack”, just search and delete all the wandering trader files and it should work.

It adds a additional way of getting some ore and Mob Drops after defeating mobs like Husks, Warden and more, in Minecraft with this Datapack installed.

The datapack as well as the mod version are now divided into two versions: the “Release” version and the “Snapshot” version.

– **Release** remains the same
