Reliable Recipe Viewer
# Reliable Recipe Viewer

A recipe viewer for the latest versions of Minecraft, rebuilt from [EIV](https://modrinth.com/mod/eiv) and designed to be configured.
**NOTE: Since 1.21.2, all recipe viewers must be installed on both the client and server for full functionality.**
## Features
* **Recipe Viewing:** See recipes for all vanilla recipe types, as well as [supported modded recipe types](https://modrinth.com/collection/divCExF5) as well!
* **Powerful Configuration:** Reorder and disable recipe types, rearrange the item index, rearrange the overlays, and more config options to fit your needs.
* **Bookmarking and Craftables Panel:** Bookmark items and recipes with the `A` key, or use the side panel to see what you can craft with the items in your inventory.
* **Recipe Transfer:** Click the transfer button on supported recipes to quickly transfer items from your inventory to the workstation.
Reliable Recipe Viewer is a fork of [Extended Item View](https://modrinth.com/mod/eiv). A summary of changes made from the original project can be found below.
Why Reliable Recipe Viewer?
– A reworked API designed around the recipe synchronization APIs present in Fabric and NeoForge, cutting down on redundant work and allowing some parts of RRV to function even when the server has a different recipe viewer or uses a plugin like [JustEnoughPaper](https://github.com/cassiancc/JustEnoughPaper/releases/tag/1.0-26.1-SNAPSHOT).
– On Fabric, a local fallback mode allowing for partial functionality on vanilla servers.
– Support for the latest versions of Minecraft, including snapshots when possible.
– New API options to hide recipes, recipe categories, enchantments, potions, and more.
– Ability to bookmark individual recipes, rather than only stacks.
– An option to show craftable items from your inventory.
– Additional configuration options, including switching the side of the item index, centering the search bar, reorganizing and hiding recipe categories, editing the index, and much, much more.
– Additional GUI improvements, like a scroll bar for the item index, a way to see all recipes by clicking on the recipe type, buttons to change the item index page, and more.
– Additional recipe types for special crafting recipes, item tags, repairing, and resource pack-driven info, world interaction, and anvil combining recipes.
– Compatibility improvements, showing mod name translations, tag translations, support for component ingredients, and more.
– Improved mod compatibility with [Reliable Remover](https://modrinth.com/mod/reliable-remover), [Polydex](https://modrinth.com/mod/polydex), [Controlify](https://modrinth.com/mod/controlify), and more.
– Fixes for multiple bugs seen in the original project.
## Documentation
Developers wishing to integrate their mods with Reliable Recipe Viewer or configure it for their modpack can make use of RRV’s easy to use API. You can find more info on the [Modded Minecraft Wiki](https://moddedmc.wiki/en/project/rrv/latest/docs). Unlike the original mod, this fork provides its sources through [Modrinth Maven](https://support.modrinth.com/en/articles/8801191-modrinth-maven#h_233c0ebd50) so that API Javadocs can be easily used.
## FAQ
– Will this mod be ported to other versions/loaders?
– This port will be kept up to date with the latest version of Minecraft, and I have opted to support the primary loaders on 26.1, Fabric and NeoForge. No backports are planned/necessary, please use the original mod.
– How do I get started adding compatibility with RRV?
– Please see the docs on the [Modded Minecraft Wiki](https://moddedmc.wiki/en/project/rrv/latest/docs)!
– What mods are compatible with RRV?
– Please see the [Modrinth Collection](https://modrinth.com/collection/divCExF5), which lists every mod that I know has RRV integration. If you are a developer, and you’ve added support for RRV, please reach out in the Discord and I’ll add your mod!
– Where can I ask questions about RRV?
– I am happy to answer RRV related questions in my [Discord](https://discord.cassian.cc/).

## Credits
This began as a port of [Extended Item View](https://modrinth.com/mod/eiv) to Fabric 1.21.11 and beyond with the goal of improving the mod and making it available on newer versions. I was not able to make these changes to EIV directly, as the developer does not seem to respond to pull requests. EIV is available under [MIT License](https://github.com/liushmn/ExtendedItemView/blob/26.1/LICENSE).
Revert Passive Spawns
**Revert Passive Spawns** is a really simple mod that modifies how passive entities (such as Pigs, Cows, etc…) spawn.
This pretty much means mob farms are no longer required and you no longer need to generate new chunks in order to get food.
Revert My String!
Reverts the string texture back to what it was before 26.1-snapshot 3
This resource pack helps to make string less visible like it was before in 1.21.11. It helps builders continue using string to block snow or other things from ruining a build.
**String before 26.1-snapshot 3:**

**String after 26.1-snapshot 3:**

> This pack focuses on visual customization, not gameplay changes!

Do I need any mods to use this pack?
No. This resource pack works entirely in vanilla Minecraft. Just install it, rename items in an anvil, and the textures will change automatically.
How do I activate the custom textures?
Rename a supported item to the correct name using an anvil. Once renamed, the item will instantly use its custom texture.
Why isn’t my texture changing?
Common causes: The name is not typed exactly (check spelling, spaces, and capitalization), The item is not supported by the pack, Another resource pack is overriding the same item model.
Does this work in multiplayer?
Yes, the resource pack works in multiplayer.
Does this pack affect performance?
No. This is a lightweight resource pack that only changes item models and textures, so it has little to no impact on performance.
What Minecraft versions are supported?
Works on versions that support custom item models and rename-based overrides. Using the latest version is recommended for best compatibility (>1.21.5).
Is it visible to other players?
Yes, as long as they have the same resource pack installed and enabled.

Remote Resource Pack
## Remote Resource Pack
This mod enables you to load resource packs to which contents are downloaded from the internet.
### Why do I need this?
Some players, mods and modpacks may need to keep their resources up-to-date.
What’s more, some resources may not be legal to distribute directly, therefore needed to be
downloaded in runtime.
### Config Format
Put the config file in `.minecraft/config/RemoteResourcePack/` directory (or its subdirs),
suffixed `.json`.
Here’s an example. Please not that comments are _not_ allowed in the config file.
“`json5
{
“schema”: 1, // Mandatory
// How long will the pack be outdated and require re-downloading
// e.g. 2min / 3d / 11h45min14s
// Can be “always” or “never”
“autoUpdate”: “2h”,
// The pack config, which controls what files are included
“zipconfig”: “https://featurehouse.github.io/epx_packs/v2/dl/zipconfig.json”,
“args”: { // Dynamic content arguments
“poem”: “random”, // Can be literal “random”
“splashes”: 0 // Can be a numeral index
},
// Base URL for the remote contents URL
“base”: “https://featurehouse.github.io/epx_packs/v2/dl/index.html”
}
“`
zipconfig format (comments are also not allowed):
“`json5
{
“static”: { // Files that are always included
“pack.mcmeta”: { // Can be literally defined
“raw”: “{“pack”:{“pack_format”:18,”description”:”Hello World”}}”
},
“assets/example/test.bin”: { // Can be defined as base64
“base64”: “TmV2ZXIgR29ubmEgR2l2ZSBZb3UgVXAh”
},
“assets/example/songs/dynamic/rickroll.ogg”: { // Can be downloaded from the internet
“fetch”: “https://www.example.net/songs/Rick%20Astley/Never_Gonna_Give_You_Up-HiRes.ogg”
},
“assets/example/lang/fr_fr.json”: { // Can be relative URL, whose base URL is defined in the above config
“fetch”: “/my-interesting-example-mod/resources/i18n/fr_fr.json”
}
},
“dynamic”: {
“example-arg”: { // See “args” in the above config
“default”: “random”, // Select an item randomly. Can be overridden in args.example-arg.
“items”: [{
“weight”: 250, // Can be omitted, defaulting to 100
“files”: { // Same as in “static”
“assets/example/news/content.json”: {“fetch”: “/my-interesting-example-mod/news-channel/1.json”},
“assets/example/news/timestamp.txt”: {“raw”: “2023-10-10T09:24:30+08:00”}
}
}, {
“files”: {
“assets/example/news/content.json”: {“fetch”: “/my-interesting-example-mod/news-channel/2.json”},
“assets/example/news/timestamp.txt”: {“raw”: “2023-10-10T09:25:21+08:00”}
}
}]
},
“another_arg”: {
“default”: 0,
“items”: [
{},
{
“files”: {
“assets/example/textures/items/silver_ingot.png”: {
“fetch”: “/my-interesting-example-mod/experimental/resources/silver_ingot/2023-10-10.png”
}
}
}
]
}
}
}
“`
### Built-in config for mods
Mods can include their config at `RemoteResourcePack.json` in the root dir of the JAR.
This is an example:
“`json
{
“end-poem-extension/recommended-pack-v2.json”: {
“schema”: 1,
“_description”: [
“End Poem Extension Recommended Pack”,
“Contents may differ between downloads as they are picked randomly”
],
“autoUpdate”: “2h”,
“args”: {
“poem”: “random”,
“splashes”: 0
},
“base”: “https://featurehouse.github.io/epx_packs/v2/dl/index.html”,
“zipconfig”: “https://featurehouse.github.io/epx_packs/v2/dl/zipconfig.json”
}
}
“`
Config will be dumped into `.minecraft/config/RemoteResourcePack/end-poem-extension/recommended-pack-v2.json`
(if not exist) and thereby loaded.

Reintroduced Breakable End Portal Frame
# Reintroduced Breakable End Portal Frame
Free and open-source datapack for Minecraft 1.21.5 (25w02a) and higher that reintroduced the mechanics of breaking end portal frames with the growth of a mushroom
This was previously a bug that was fixed in snapshot 25w02a, but in which it is also possible to change which blocks are replaced by mushroom blocks when a red mushroom grows
