This is a standalone mod that contains just the FX from my mod Pale World, because sometimes you just want to play a prettier vanilla Minecraft.

**_Current Features:_**
* Pale Garden Fog
* Open Eyeblossoms emit light

## Compatibility:
* Hasn’t been tested with any mods adding similar features
* Fog will not render with Iris installed _with_ a shader in use, but otherwise works.
* Compatible with Fog, though I am able to exercise less control so it may appear differently.

PackCENHeaderFix

# PackCENHeaderFix

There is no longer an error invalid CEN header (bad entry name or comment)

It solves this problem by replacing Java Zip implementation with Apache Commons Compress implementation.

## Example Story

You downloaded a ResourcePack from a RP author. You put it in your RP folder and tried to load it as usual, but you don’t see it in the RP selector.

Instead, Minecraft prints the following error in the log:

![136fae32511da386f54de944925e101fee8c6527.png](https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/7zCj0OEn/images/136fae32511da386f54de944925e101fee8c6527.png)

It doesn’t appear in Mojira, precisely because it’s a bug that only appears under very extreme conditions. I haven’t seen it in the past few years of the game, and only very, very few RP authors have accidentally allowed their RP to be contaminated by this bug.

The cause of this bug is unknown, but it only affects the Java Zip implementation. RPs that experience this bug can still be force-loaded (although you won’t be able to find them in the selector), but I think it’s better to try to fix it.

## About API
It’s intended for use with another mod of mine, which will rely on this one for additional functionality.

If you want to do something with it, my advice is don’t, I don’t want it to behave unexpectedly.

## How to build?
After the clone repository, be sure to use the `./gradlew clean build` command to build,
rather than executing any of them separately.

After the build is completed, a jars folder will be generated in the root directory,
where the final build results will be stored.

## For Modpack
If you comply with the license, you can use it freely for Modpack.

Modpacks that redistribute Minecraft game body (i.e. packages that package the entire Minecraft game including Mod files, Config, ShaderPacks, ResourcePacks, Library and launcher into a whole zip file) are not allowed to use this mod.

## License

This work has a restrictive license in addition to the original license to prevent some unexpected behavior, see 404Setup Public License

Outlined Ores

# Outlined Ores
### 1.20.2 and below are discontinued
The Outlined Ores texture pack is one of the most useful texture packs available. While exploring caves or strip mining, it is easy to overlook a surprising number of ore blocks. With the Outlined Ores texture pack, ores become highly visible even from a distance, making resource gathering far more efficient. The outlines are vibrant and clear, and best of all, the pack does not require any additional mods.

Despite its enhanced visibility, the texture pack maintains a natural appearance. All ore outlines are created using the existing colors of each ore block, ensuring they blend seamlessly with the game’s original style. This prevents the pack from looking unnatural or distracting, an issue commonly found in similar texture packs.

## Looking for a server to play on with your friends?
Look no further, because CloudNord is by far the best server hosting site I’ve found. Really. I actually used their servers back when I used to host a Minecraft server and the pricing was literally the best out of ANY server hosting provider I saw. Their customer service is outstanding and they respond within minutes. Click the image (or link) below to order a server for as low as only $2.67 a month!

[ORB] OresRBack

## What does this mod/ datapack do?
This simple mod/ datapack makes it possible to mine ores like in versions before 1.17 again. That means that ores drop ores again and not raw ores. Read more here.

## But whyy??
My friends and I noticed after playing the newer versions of Minecraft that the new ore logic is a bit overpowered and makes it much easier to get resources (especially Copper Ore)

## More Minecraft Versions???
I will support more Minecraft versions if it is requested. So if someone opens an issue on GitHub, or send me an mail to [this address](mailto:[email protected]), that they want another version of Minecraft for this mod/ datapack, I will create it!

## Create Extension
I’ve also created a mod for Create’s zinc ore, see: ORBC

## BYG Extension
As well for Oh the biomes you’ll go! See: ORBB

Optimum Realism

# **Optimum Realism**

**The realistic Minecraft resource pack with PBR, POM, and custom 3D models. 3M+ downloads across all platforms. Actively updated monthly.**

## **What is Optimum Realism?**

Optimum Realism replaces Minecraft’s blocks, items, and mobs with their real-world counterparts. It’s built with a focus on visual depth, shader compatibility, and consistent performance. The goal is a pack for players who want their world to feel grounded and tactile without the framerate cost that usually comes with realistic textures.

Over 650+ blocks reworked. Custom 3D mob models. PBR maps, parallax occlusion mapping, emissive textures, and depth-write POM, all in a single pack that runs on a GTX 1050.

## **Features**

– **650+ blocks reworked** with realistic PBR textures
– **Custom 3D models** for mobs and items (spiders, chickens, and more added monthly)
– **Parallax Occlusion Mapping, depth-write POM, emissive blocks, and full PBR support**
– **Compatible with Minecraft 1.21.x** and earlier versions back to 1.16
– **Works with all major shaders**: Kappa, BSL, SEUS PTGI, Complementary, and more
– **Java + Bedrock support**, with a dedicated **Bedrock RTX edition** launching soon
– **Performance-first design**. 64x runs smoothly on mid-range hardware
– **Actively updated monthly** with new textures, models, and features
– **3M+ total downloads** across CurseForge, Modrinth, and direct distribution

## **How Optimum Realism is different**

– **Real 3D models, not just retextures.** Mobs and blocks have actual geometry, not painted-on detail.
– **Depth-write POM.** Textures genuinely interact with each other. Sand fills the crevices between planks instead of sitting flat on top.
– **Performance balance.** Most realistic packs sacrifice framerate. Optimum Realism is built to run on hardware that other realistic packs choke on.
– **Consistent monthly updates.**

Optimum Realism runs well on a decent gaming computer. You don’t need an RTX card unless you’re using the Bedrock RTX edition.

– **64x version:** GTX 1050 or equivalent, 8GB RAM minimum
– **128x version:** GTX 1060 / RTX 2060 recommended for shaders at higher resolutions

OneBar

A sleek HUD mod for Minecraft: Java Edition using Fabric mod loader.

![](https://media.forgecdn.net/attachments/435/928/2022-02-25_22.png)

Reviews by Niche Duck: main mod (v1.2.2), config (v1.2.2). Mob arena gameplay with customized OneBar (v2.3.1) by agata_m

## How it works

**See the gallery for a tutorial image!**

Tips:

* Every value and bar is displayed only when you need it.
* The positive effects, including health itself, are displayed left-to-right; negative effects are displayed right-to-left.
* If you get hungry, the hunger overlay is displayed over the health by its value.
* If you eat, you’ll lose the overlay and the value, because you no longer need it.
* If you are also underwater, the water bar is displayed on top of health _and_ hunger because it is the most important value in this case.
* Health is _always_ the first number and hunger is _almost always_ the last number (except when you have the hunger effect).
* Everything in between is an estimate, additional health or damage source (can be disabled).
* You can also enable “Show additional symbols” in options to get icons for those
* Remember old Minecraft without hunger and experience? This mod gives you a visually similar experience without losing modern functionality.

The mod only uses client-side data, so it is never needed on a server. There are also a lot of settings for configuring the colors and visibility of various elements.

### Meanings of the colors and icons

## Installation

1. Install Minecraft 1.16 or later
2. Install Fabric Loader
3. Download OneBar, Fabric API, Mod Menu, Cloth Config API
4. Place the JARs you downloaded to your Minecraft’s mods folder
5. Run the game!

Currently also works on Quilt, though no effort has yet been made to explicitly support it. See #21.

## Mod compatibility

– Raised – moves OneBar and hotbar upwards, height of both can be adjusted
– Auto HUD – automatically shows and hides certain elements of OneBar as needed
– Exordium (beta) – improve HUD performance
– OneBar + MCC Island Compat (unofficial) – disables OneBar when you have no health bar on MCC Island
– Flour’s Various Tweaks and Head-down display – partial compatibility for the auto-hide feature, does not hide OneBar elements

## FAQ

**Q: Why do I have to download Cloth Config API separately?**

A: Because it’s big, gets updated a lot and you probably have a mod or two that requires it anyway. If one of your mods already bundles it, you don’t have to download it at all 🙂

**Q: How do I edit the colors?**

A: Click Esc -> Mods -> OneBar -> config button. Colors are formatted as opacity + RGB in HEX, so choose an opacity from this list and use any HEX color picker for choosing a color. For example if I want 80% opacity (`CC`) on blue (`0000FF`), I will enter `#CC0000FF`.

**Q: Forge support?**

A: No. Feel free to fork according to the license or check out my resource pack that inspired this.

**Q: Backports?**

A: No, latest is greatest.

**Q: Snapshots?**

A: Sometimes. If not published here, check GitHub Actions.

Omnilook

# Omnilook

_A simple freelook/perspective mod for Minecraft._

Omnilook implements a small utility function for your player camera, which lets you rotate which way the third-person camera faces independent of your player’s head movement. This lets you take fancy cinematic shots or aim your cursor in a specific direction while not having to be locked to looking in that direction too!

## Version Support
Omnilook will support pretty much any and every mod loader and version of Minecraft you can think of. The table for this is kind of big, so please see the GitHub readme for the full thing.

## Why Omnilook?
Omnilook is not the first mod to do this. Here’s why you should try it out:
– **It’s lightweight.** Unlike other mods, Omnilook is small and lightweight in about every way possible. It depends on other mods minimally, doesn’t interrupt your game in the slightest, and the mod jar weighs in at far under 100 kilobytes.
– **It’s compatible.** Omnilook will *just work* anywhere you put it. It uses as few injections as possible to get the job done, and often uses mod loaders’ events and APIs to make sure it functions well with other mods.
– …that’s about it for now.

## Configuration
Omnilook at its core is a pretty simple mod, so there aren’t too many configuration options right now. Besides the activation key binding (by default bound to the grave key, `), the one other option to configure is if pressing it toggles the effect, or if holding it keeps it activated.

## Issues?
See me on GitHub. I’d love to help!

Old Combat Datapack

NOTICE: 1.21.2-1.21.4 is supported and most features are available, but doesn’t have sword blocking and is not a priority when it comes to updates and feature compatibility. 1.21.1 isn’t supported, though experimental 1.21.1 builds are in the works (available now), and the pack doesn’t work on 1.20 and below at all, and will never be supported, for many reasons.

Some features require my mod Andrew’s Datapack Utilities to work/function properly, but the pack will still work without it. Without it, some features won’t work as well and some don’t work at all.

Questions/Issues? Post them in my discord server as they are more likely to get seen there. Find it on the sidebar.

This 1.21.11 datapack aims to restore the pre-combat update mechanics as much as possible using a datapack. The datapack restores sword blocking, removes the attack speed mechanic, restores the old axe damages, disables the offhand, and so much more! Examples of what is possible can be found in the features section below.

## Customizability

Each mechanic is togglable. A few settings have other associated settings that allow more customizability of that setting.
To access the configuration menu, run:
“`
/function oldcombat:config
“`
Note:
when you run the above command, one of 2 different menus may show. The first being the brand-new dialog menu that acts like an actual gui thanks to 1.21.6

the other is the old chat-based menu, which shows when the new menu cannot load for whatever reason, for example on 1.21.5 and older where dialogs didn’t exist.

## Features

Too many to list here! See them for yourself in-game!

Here are examples of what’s possible:

– Bringing back 1.8’s combat system (which is already done using the pack’s default settings
– Bringing back Beta 1.7.3 and earlier’s mechanics
– such as the old hunger system (where food heals health directly and hunger doesnt exist (and therefore sprinting and swimming is off-limits). Requires Andrew’s Datapack Utilities or a player data modification mod) and no food stacking and instant eating/drinking (currently both no food stacking and instant eating are the same setting, will become separate soon)
– ~~Completely breaking~~ Reverting Minecraft 1.2.1’s changes to mob ai, that added pathfinding
– A bit buggy and resource-intensive, but also funny to look at
– ~~Breaking physics and the game~~
– Not a great idea

## Known issues

Performance sucks. Not much I can do about that as of current, but… (see Future Plans)

## Notes

This datapack will likely cause lag and/or break on servers with many players, it is not recommended to use this datapack outside of singleplayer or smaller servers unless the server runs on a NASA computer. For best performance for larger servers,

This pack was created with the help of the MC-Build project. Without the project this pack wouldn’t have been as easy to make. You can see the MC-Build Github Repository here: https://github.com/mc-build/mcb
1.21.5 – 1.21.11 is recommended, but 1.21.6+ may be annoying to configure due to the warnings that show when you click buttons. A dialog version of the config menu is being worked on to make configuration easier in 1.21.6+. For now, I have a Fabric clientside mod to remove that warning.

### Crashing and Errors
The datapack might occasionally “crash”, disabling itself and dropping a _long_ error message to the chat. When this happens, the issue should be posted on my discord server so i can quickly respond to it. If you think it is safe to re-enable the pack, run the following command:
“`
/scoreboard players set Disable OldCombatSettings 0
“`

Datapack crashes are more likely to happen when there is a lot of entities in your world (dropped items, mobs, etc.)

The pack disables itself so that the datapack doesn’t cause lag and eventually freeze the server due to the pack not being able to remove temporary stuff used for calculations because minecraft stops the functions early if a limit is hit.

## For Modpack creators

You may use this pack in any of your modpacks, but asking me first is always nice.

## For Developers

You may depend on, make mods (somehow) for, and help contribute to this project. However, if you wish to publish this project elsewhere/post a fork of this project, I would like if you asked me for permission beforehand.

## For Content Creators/Streamers

I am completely fine with, and even encourage, creating of content with this project. If you do, please credit this project and maybe link to this page if you use this in your content/stream.

## Why?

1.21.5 snapshot 25w04a (Which added the `blocks_attacks` item component that can be added to an item, including swords, to make it block like a shield, and has a lot of settings) gave me an idea. What if you could fit almost the entire 1.8 combat system into a datapack? 25w04a gave me the rest of the tools to do this (`blocks_attacks`), so I decided to work on it. It also gave me a chance to try out an alternate datapack language called MC-Build (see above) that compiles into a normal datapack, and I don’t regret that decision, as it’s been extremely helpful. A while later, I created my Fabric (and sometimes NeoForge, soon to be a Paper Plugin too) mod Andrew’s Datapack Utilities which gave me the rest of the tools I needed (player data modification and entity velocity manipulation) to recreate the 1.8 combat system nearly 1:1.

What’s special about this datapack is that it’s a datapack which means you can use it without a mod, (mostly, Andrew’s Datapack Utilities is required for some parts of the pack) and it doesn’t require anything at ALL on the client, only the server/singleplayer world, (though the fabric/forge/neoforge/quilt version of the pack is available for easier access).

## Future Plans
As many of you that use this datapack know, it has some severe performance issues. I plan to partially heal that in the future, by running certain code only when necessary, for example, item-disabling code running only upon inventory change. Currently, most functions run every tick, which is inefficient.

Old Redstone Torch

This resource pack brings back the old redstone torch model and texture from before 24w33a for those who prefer the previous look of the redstone torch.

This pack changes it for both the torches on their own and on components like the comparator and repeater.
