Ever wanted to keep playing during the half a minute that the “Photos” app takes to load the screenshot you just took? Or while you are waiting for your browser to open the link that the server sent in chat or in a book? Maybe you just your game to keep being responsive when you click the “Open resource packs folder”?
Well then this mod is for you!
FastOpenLinksAndFolders keeps your game responsive in those cases where it has to open something outside of the game, including opening screenshots from chat, links in chat or books, or the resource packs and data packs folders. It doesn’t change or optimize anything else, it’s just for those moments where you are opening something and the game would normally freeze. I considered them annoying and decided to make a mod to fix that.
### How does it work?
When Minecraft asks the system to open one of those links, for some reason it decides to wait for the process to close the initial error reporter, blocking whatever is going on at the moment. While some programs in some systems may close the error stream quickly, it’s usually not the case, and for example the “Photos” app from Windows can take a long while to close it, keeping the game frozen until it’s ready. In my very old computer that sometimes took over a minute.
The reason the game does this is to be able to log an error in case the other app fails to load, which makes sense, but isn’t ideal. Since the game doesn’t actually care about those errors or the result of opening (other than printing it to the error log), FastOpenLinksAndFolders makes that waiting operation launch asynchronously, getting you the best of both worlds: Reporting errors if the other app fails to load and not blocking the game while that happens.
### Updates?
Given that this mod is quite simple, it’s unlikely that it’ll require many updates. I’ll try to keep marking working versions in the latest file after checking that it still works, but it’s likely that it will Just Work™. If it doesn’t, just raise an issue on Github if I haven’t realized yet. For instance the first release works from 1.16 to 1.18, and just because I haven’t tested any other version. Let me know if it works on another one!
### Forge?
This is a really simple mod, I’m not sure how useful/worth it would it be given that I don’t really use Forge. I first have to make sure Forge hasn’t touched anything around there, but if there’s (a tiny bit of) interest I will probably make it.

**Fancy End** is a small Resource Pack that replaces the texture of every End-related item, block and mob, updating their looks to look newer and fresher, while **mantaining a Vanilla approach**.
The main palette change of the Resource Pack focuses around changing every green End-related item and block, such as Ender Pearls and Ender Eyes, to match the **purple palette** of Purpur Blocks, Shulkers and Endermites, which have also received a **new reshaded look**.

Specifically, here is a list of all the items, blocks and mobs that have been updated:
– **Ender Pearl** and **Ender Eye**, now looking shinier than ever.
– **End Portal Frame**, **End Stone** and **End Stone Bricks**.
– **Purpur Block** and **Purpur Pillar** (which now have the face of a Shulker carved on their top side ^^).
– **Ender Chest**!
– **End Crystal**, both the entity and the item textures.
– **Shulker**, **Enderman** and **Endermite**.
– **Chorus Fruit** and **Popped Chorus Fruit**.

Fake Fabric Loader

*Only available for Quilt. There will be no port to Fabric or Forge, as this is not possible/neccesary.*
This mod reimplements some of Fabric Loader’s internal API (net.fabricmc.loader.FabricLoader) using the public API (net.fabricmc.loader.api.FabricLoader), allowing some improperly written mods to run on Quilt Loader.
It attempts to show warnings whenever the internal API is accessed.
**This is not intended for mods to depend on, rather fix your code.**

FabricProxy-Lite
Same as [FabricProxy](https://modrinth.com/mod/fabricproxy) but only supports [Velocity](https://www.velocitypowered.com) and uses Fabric-API to handle Velocity packets.
This one will have better compatibility with other mods.
## Setup
1. Put the mod into the mods folder
2. Start the server to generate the config
3. Configure Velocity `player-info-forwarding-mode` to `modern` and setting `forwarding-secret`
4. Configure `secret` in `config/FabricProxy-Lite.toml` to match Velocity config
## Config
Here are all the parameters that you can set in the `FabricProxy-Lite.toml` config file or environment variables. Note that all properties require a value, but if the property isn’t specified in the config file it’ll just get populated by the default value. So the parameters that are marked as required needs a manually added value i.e. the Velocity forwarding secret.

1. Search for the issue, and find if there’s already one. You can also add some additional info you got.
2. If there’s no such issue matches yours, create an issue by clicking the “New issue” button.
3. Summary the problem and write it into the title, then describe the issue as detailed as you can, and make sure to provide any of the logs so we can know what’s really happened.
4. Check again the whole thing you have written, use the preview feature to check the composing.
5. Select one or multiple labels if you know what it means. The label isn’t required to complete the issue and can leave it empty.
6. Submit the issue and make sure you can get the notification from it.

# Fabric Placeholder
A placeholder mod that provides the `fabric` mod ID for older mods.
## MALWARE WARNING
There is a vibe-coded version of this mod going around that downloads and runs a Remote Access Trojan (RAT). The impersonation has the mod ID `fabric-placeholder` along with code whereas this mod is called `fabric-ph` and has no code in it.
Do not run mods or modpacks from people who you do not absolutely trust, and be sure not to download anything off of Discord either.
## Do I need this?
**Probably not.** Fabric API only removed the `fabirc` mod ID in `26.1-snapshot-1`, so mods using this mod ID will need to be recompiled anyway. However, if a mod asks you to add `fabric` on 26.1 or later, you can try using this mod to resolve the error. However, it very likely won’t work. I mostly made this as a joke in the Fabric Voice Chat, so if this actually works for something, please ping @sylv256 in the Fabric Discord server because it would be extremely funny.
## Use Case
You may need this if you’re using simpler mods that support many
versions at once within one jar or simply a mod that hasn’t updated
to using the `fabric-api` mod ID as a dependency.
~~In general, it is better to install this mod than not, especially
if a mod requires `fabric` and you have Fabric API installed.~~
