You Were Slain

# You Were Slain

### Customize the death screen unlike ever before!

You Were Slain allows you to edit multiple elements of the death screen. There are lots of features, including:
– A Terraria-styled respawn delay
– Ability to change text colors
– Allow for the text to fade in
– Hide your HUD upon death, for more a more cinematic effect(it then unhides the HUD upon respawning)
– Hide the respawn and or title screen buttons
– Send a chat message including your death coordinates(only to yourself)
– Custom death sound effect which can be edited with a resource pack(silent by default)
– And more!

You Were Slain also allows for you to edit most of the text shown on the death screen without the use of a resource pack. This was done to easily allow for quicker customization.

You Thief!

This is originally for modpack AnimateCraft: Lankeren. If you like this content, I’m sure you’ll like that modpack, too. Welcome to check it out!

I always wanted villagers to act more like…human. So I made this, eventually. (At the beginning it was called Steal & Strike, some folks may remember.)

Now when you open the chests in the village, and the villagers nearby see or hear you,
they will get angry and raise the trade price extremely.
The iron golems will attack you too.
You will also get a bad luck debuff for a day. What a shame to be a thief! (Don’t even try to get rid of it with milk)

Now think twice about the consequences before you steal!

-Location will be detected, you will only offend villagers and iron golems when opening chests in the village. Placing/opening/breaking your own chest will not offend villagers.

-Compatibility with multiplayer game. You should be announced when your friends play dirty.

-Compatibility with villages from datapack Towns & towers

-Occasionally some merciful witness wouldn’t blame you, but don’t take chances.

Future Features:
·More properties of village detected: hay bales, melons, beds, work stations, etc. (Suggestions and ideas are welcome)

SUPER CREDITS to peA_sh0ter and Ajana!!!
Thanks for you guys’ patience, encouragement, support and help! I might never have been able to create this data pack without you.
Brainstorming and sharing the joy with friends are the best part of pack making.

This mod is not compatible with Lootr.

You Shall Not Spawn!

Disable unwanted mobs from spawning using JSON configuration.

Supports Forge, Fabric, and Quilt

⭐ Features ⭐

Add the ID of the entity you want to remove in config/ysns/disabled_entities.json5 to completely remove entities from spawning.

Whether per dimension or globally (by using "!.*"), you can control the spawn rate of an entity in the config/ysns/per_dimension_entities.json5 config.

Need to disable multiple entities from 1 mod? Or is there a pattern in them? Then no need to repeat yourself!

With regular expressions, you can disable multiple entities in a single entry, disable all entities from a mod, and a lot more! Simply start the entry with "!" and then write your regular expression.

The config files have comments explaining and giving examples of what you need to add to make the mod work! If you need extra help, feel free to hop in my Discord in the #elocins-projects channel.

FAQ

Of course! It was designed for modpack creators to remove undesired entities that may unbalance the game or create issues.

In the case of using the disabled_entities config, no. Once a mob is added to the blacklist, there is no way to spawn it by any method. Both natural or through eggs/commands. This mod is meant to completely remove undesired entities.

In the case of the per_dimension config, it works via chance, so at 0.0 they won’t spawn at all. But at 0.5 it’ll have a 50% chance of spawning.

Everything happens on the server’s side. Though it is recommended to leave the mod and config for clients too, for the case they want to play a single-player world. You should always leave this mod in the server pack alongside its config.

Spawned entities will still exist, so it’s up to you if you want to kill them or not. For this reason, it’s recommended to configure the mod before creating a world.

Nothing will happen. Adding invalid IDs won’t cause issues, but obviously, the entity won’t be blacklisted as it technically doesn’t exist. The same thing would happen if the mod isn’t present, but it will be if it’s added later and the ID is valid.

You Don’t Have The Right (Recipe)

# You Don’t Have The Right (Recipe)
An overengineered mod to fix the “working as intended”
`doLimitedCrafting` gamerule. Among other things.

# Features
* Furnaces and brewing stands obey `doLimitedCrafting` according to the recipe book of
the last player who changed their contents.
* Data driven potion recipes! This was not outside of the scope of the mod at all.
* Completely rewritten tick logic for furnaces and brewing stands! It should increase
performance (untested) and amount of bugs (untested, too).
* Force `doLimitedCrafting` to `true` on all dimensions, regardless of the underlying
value of the gamerule (configurable).
* Prevent Steve from receiving “divine inspiration” recipes every time he picks up a new item
or touches water (configurable).
* And an amazing API for developers that no one but me will ever use!

# Known uncompatibilities
* **NERB (Not Enough Recipe Book)**, as it disables the
recipe book entirely, which is the underlying mechanism of this entire mod.
* Any mod that modifies the tick logic of furnaces or brewing stands.
* Any mod that adds potions, as these will not work since they have no generated recipes.
Ping me to get your mod’s potion recipes generated and included!

# Best used with…
* **Better Recipe Book**, with “hide locked recipes”
option enabled
* **CraftTweaker** or **KubeJS**
to actually leverage the features of this mod

You Die You Lose a Heart (Discontinued)

Continuation of this mod: https://modrinth.com/mod/hardcore-lite

You Die You Lose a Heart

Whenever you die you lose a heart, if you lose all of them you will be forced to go into spectator mode. This is similar to normal hardcore in Minecraft but somewhat forgiving.

Limit the maximum amount of hearts with /gamerule maxHearts (by default set to 20 hearts) and whether players can even get hearts with /gamerule canRestoreHearts true/false (by default set to true)

You can replenish hearts by eating enchanted golden apples. This gives enchanted golden apples actual use outside of pvp.

You Bandit!

This is originally for modpack AnimateCraft: Lankeren. If you like this content, I’m sure you’ll like that modpack, too. Welcome to check it out!

You hate villagers? You think they are useless? You want to kick their asses? Alright, I don’t know why you think that way, but now I can let you do it in a cooler way.

Introducing ***You Bandit!***, a derive mod of ***You Thief!***. With this mod, you can choose to be a bandit, hang around with the illagers, and loot the villagers.

After killing two villagers, you will get an unluck debuff, and you become a bandit, really simple.

Being a bandit means you will be hated by villagers and iron golems, the former will rise their trading prices, the latter will not stop chasing you.

But bandits have advantages. You are now much stronger, and the illagers will not attack you anymore!–Not until you betray them.

When you kill one of the illagers (including witch and vex), you will be cursed with a Bad Omen V. Even worse, you cannot use milk bucket to get rid of it or the consequence it brings–continuously spawned vexs around you! Now this is the real bad omen!

Want to make up what you’ve done? Take the Bade Omen V to the village, and win the raid! Then you’ll gain a Hero of the Village V, which can decrease the trader price to the original level (only a bit higher :))
