# Polymer
It’s a library for creating server side content, that work for player’s without mods or (required) resource packs!
You can create blocks, items and entities, that not only will work fully on server side (and singleplayer), but also
are represented on server the same as normal (vanilla/modded) ones (unlike bukkit/spigot ones, that are stored as vanilla block).
This library also should work correctly with other, non-polymer mods and PolyMC!

## For server owners/mod pack makers:
Any mod using this library shouldn’t be required on the client side! However, as stated above, there
are few small quality of life things added with it. So you might want to recommend it or include with
your mod pack.
If you have a server and polymer based mods you are using include a resource pack, you might want since version 0.2.5
“packed/all” version of polymer contains AutoHost module, allowing you to setup automatic building and sending of packs
to clients.

## What this library/mod doesn’t do
This mod doesn’t convert existing mods to server side ones. While it’s possible to do so with manual coding,
for that you might want to use [PolyMC](https://github.com/TheEpicBlock/PolyMc) as long as you don’t
need to use regular mods on the client (for example with a modpack).

Player Roles
# Player Roles for Fabric
This is a simple implementation allowing for custom permissions to be assigned to players via Discord-like “roles”.
Roles and their permissions are defined within a JSON file, which can be easily modified and reloaded at runtime for rapid iteration.
The roles.json file is located in the config directory (`/config/roles.json`). An example configuration may look like:

But what’s going on here? This JSON file is declaring three roles: `admin`, `spectator` and `everyone`.
`everyone` is the default role: every player will have this role, and it cannot be removed.
The other roles that are specified function as overrides on top of the `everyone` role.
### Overrides
Within each role declaration, we list a set of overrides. Overrides are the generic system that this mod uses to change game behavior based on roles.
Currently, the supported override types are `commands`, `name_decoration`, `chat_type`, `mute`, `command_feedback`, `permission_level` and `entity_selectors`.
It is important to consider how overrides are applied when multiple roles target the same things. Conflicts like this are resolved by always choosing the role with the highest level.
So, in the case of the example: although `everyone` declares every command except `help` to be disallowed, because `admin` and `spectator` have higher levels, they will override this behaviour.
#### Commands
The `commands` override is used to manipulate the commands that a player is able to use.
Each override entry specifies a regular expression pattern to match, and then a strategy for how to respond when the mod encounters that pattern.
For example, the pattern `.*` matches every possible command, while `gamemode (spectator|adventure)` would match the gamemode command only with spectator and adventure mode.
The strategies that can then be used alongside these patterns are `allow` and `deny`:
`allow` will make sure that the player is allowed to use this command, while `deny` will prevent the player from using this command.

The commands override can additionally make use of the `hidden` rule result, which will allow the command to be used,
while hiding it from command suggestions.
#### Name Decoration
The `name_decoration` override modifies how the names of players with a role are displayed. This can be used to override name colors as well as prepend or append text.
This has lower priority than scoreboard team colors.
Name decoration might be declared like:

Three fields can be optionally declared:
– `style`: accepts a list of text formatting types or hex colors
– `prefix`: accepts a text component that is prepended before the name
– `suffix`: accepts a text component that is appended after the name
– `contexts`: accepts a set of possible contexts defining where this decoration should be applied
– Accepts: `chat` and `tab_list`
– Default: applies to all possible contexts
#### Chat Types
The `chat_type` override allows the chat message decorations to be replaced for all players with a role.
This integrates with the Vanilla `minecraft:chat_type` registry, which can be altered with a datapack.
The `chat_type` override declares simply the `chat_type` that should be used:

It is important to note that Vanilla chat type registry is loaded from the datapack on server start, and cannot be hot-reloaded like the player roles config.
##### Declaring custom chat types
Custom chat types can be declared with a custom datapack in `data//chat_type/`.
For example, we might declare a `data/mydatapack/chat_type/admin.json`:

#### Permission Level
The `permission_level` override sets the vanilla [permission level](https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Server.properties#op-permission-level) for assigned players.
This is useful for interacting with other mods, as well as with vanilla features that aren't supported by this mod.
Permission level is declared like:

The `mute` override functions very simply by preventing assigned players from typing in chat.

By default, all operators receive global feedback when another player runs a command.

### Applying roles in-game
Once you've made modifications to the `roles.json` file, you can reload it by using the `/role reload`.
All role management goes through this `role` command via various subcommands. For example:
- `role assign Gegy admin`: assigns the `admin` role to `Gegy`
- `role remove Gegy admin`: removes the `admin` role from `Gegy`
- `role list Gegy`: lists all the roles that have been applied to `Gegy`
- `role reload`: reloads the `roles.json` configuration file

## Basic usage

Most standard emoji characters will just work if you copy and paste them in or
use some kind of emoji input. For example, try copying emoji from
[this site](https://emojifinder.com/) or using the Windows emoji picker (Win+.).
However, emoji that consist of sequences of multiple character are not supported
by vanilla and will show up as multiple, separate characters. Sorry.

## Remapped characters (for developers)
In order to have any support for emoji consisting of sequences they have been
remapped to unused single characters. An index of these can be found in
/assets/emoji_remappings/lang/en_us.json.
For example, `ud83dudc69u200dud83dudd2c` (👩+🔬=👩🔬)
is mapped to `udb80udf30` using this translation snippet:

**Please note that vanilla has no mechanism to
automatically convert to the remapped form.**
A custom emoji picker or some kind of mod/plugin is
required to make using these a smooth experience.
Because the index acts as a language file, a server side chat listener
could detect emoji sequences and turn them into translations like this one:

Any client with the pack installed can then perform the remapping for the server.
If the pack is not installed or the sequence is not found then it will just
fall back to displaying the sequence. This means that the server doesn’t need a
complete list of emoji sequences, just a way to detect potential ones.

Shortcodes are a popular way to insert emoji by name. An index of shortcodes
can be found in /assets/emoji_shortcodes/lang/en_us.json.
For example, `:thinking:` is mapped to `ud83eudd14` (🤔):

Emoji that need remapping already map to the remapped version.
**Please note that vanilla has no mechanism to
automatically convert shortcodes into emoji.**
Some kind of mod/plugin is required.
Because the index acts as a language file, a server side chat listener could

# Pixel perfect Twemoji (18×18 version)
This resource pack adds **all** of Twemoji, redrawn by hand as pixel art
at 18×18 pixels, to the default font in Minecraft: Java Edition
version 1.16 or later. Twemoji is the emoji set used by Discord and Twitter.

## Installation
Please download the .zip file from the Versions section, put it in your
resource packs folder and select it for use in-game.
You can also embed this pack into another pack,
for use on a server or custom world for example.
Please remember to credit the project as it is
one of the requirements of the project license.
## Basic usage

Most standard emoji characters will just work if you copy and paste them in or
use some kind of emoji input. For example, try copying emoji from
[this site](https://emojifinder.com/) or using the Windows emoji picker (Win+.).
However, emoji that consist of sequences of multiple character are not supported
by vanilla and will show up as multiple, separate characters. Sorry.

SomeOrdinaryTweaks is a mod that adds few GUI/HUD/Rendering Tweaks and gives ability to turn off selective toast groups (tutorial/advancement/recipe unlock popups), also includes few misc features. every feature will be listed down below

– `Hide Shield`
– With this option enabled, It stops rendering the shield if the player is holding the shield item in the off hand and not holding a weapon in the main hand.
– `Hide Totem of Undying`
– With this option enabled, It stops rendering the Totem of undying if the player is holding it in the off hand.
– `Better Horse HUD`
– With this option enabled, the the health of any entity the player is riding on will display alongside the player hunger bar, Instead of replacing it. The player XP bar will render instead of the jump meter unless the player attempts to jump.
– `Disable Scoreboard Rendering` *(1.19.x-1.6.0+ versions only)*
– With this option enabled, it stops rendering the side scoreboard.
– `Toast Controls.`
– Allows to Individually disable Advancement/Tutorial/Recipe Unlock Toasts/Popups (Error/Issue/System Toasts will still display as they contain important things that the user should not ignore).
– `Skip Server Resourcepack Downloads `
– This option allows you to accept a server resource pack without downloading it/enabling it. Specially useful if you have a slow internet or a old PC and want to play on a server that mandates a really high resolution resource pack.
– `Disable Portals closing GUIs`
– This option gives you the ability to open the Inventories(like chests or your inventory) and the chat while inside of a nether portal. *hopefully* no more getting trapped on a nether portal in some random sever with a claiming plugin.
– `Death coords in the Death Screen`
– Shows the coordinates of where you died in the death screen, also gives a button to copy the cords to the clipboard. This is a another standalone mod of mine that has been merged to this mod. I will continue to update the standalone mod that features this feature (Where-is-my-Stuff).
– `Send Death Coords In Chat`
– If enabled, the death cords will be sent to the chat (only visible to the you) after you respawn.
– `Smart Edible Crop Placement`
– With this option enabled, It prevents placing edible crop-blocks like sweet berries/carrots/potatoes. the player is still able to place down the crop by holding shift.
– `FullBright` *(1.19+ versions only)*
– This options turns gamma to a higher value allowing for clearer perception of dark areas. (Do note some servers might consider this as an unfair advantage)
– `Off Hand Item Slot Location` *(1.19.x-1.5.0+ versions only)*
– LEFT -> The off hand item slot will always be rendered on the left side of the hotbar
– Right -> The off hand item slot will always be rendered on the right side of the hotbar
– VANILA -> Default Vanila Configuration
– `No double slab placement`
– With this option enabled, It prevents the player from placing a slab-block in a place where it could form into a double slab block

## Forge/NeoForge compatibility
You can use this mod with Forge/NeoForge thanks to [Sinytra Connector](https://modrinth.com/mod/connector) compatibility layer. Simply put Sinytra Connector mod and SomeOrdinaryTweaks mod and cloth config mod in the mods folder. **Do not put modmenu mod, you can access SOT config with forge mods screen**
**Better Horse HUD feature does not work in forge as of now**
## How to configure the options
To access the config you must have modmenu mod installed, Simply click the `Mods` button that modmenu provides, Scroll down and find SomeOrdinaryTweaks mod, click it and then click the configure icon, You will be presented with the config screen.

My friends and I noticed after playing the newer versions of Minecraft that the new ore logic is a bit overpowered and makes it much easier to get resources (especially Copper Ore)

## **System requirements**

Optimum Realism runs well on a decent gaming computer. You don’t need an RTX card unless you’re using the Bedrock RTX edition.

– **128x version:** GTX 1060 / RTX 2060 recommended for shaders at higher resolutions
– **Bedrock RTX edition:** RTX 2060 or better
