Fast Noise is a modern optimization mod to improve world generation times. I regularly update the mod to latest minecraft versions, bring improvements to the mod, and provide stable releases.

**Does the mod change world generation?** The mod maintains **vanilla parity**, including with any datapacks. Do keep in mind, [Vanilla non-determinism](https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-55596).

**Can I use custom worldgen mods with this?** Yes, I try my best to maintain mod compatibility, and only modify safe code. Specific optimizations that may affect mod compatibility are disabled by default.

**Forge / Neoforge?** Versions for minecraft 1.19.x – 1.21.8 are compatible with sinytra connector.

## How does this mod work?

Fast noise optimizes storing block and biome data into chunks for the duration of worldgen.

Technical Details

Fast noise replaces populateNoise,populateBiomes in NoiseChunkGenerator and surfaceBuilder in SurfaceBuilder.

Fast noise optimizes world generation by making several strong assumptions about how world generation works. By replacing vanilla’s generic and debug code for world storage with faster, more packed calculations, fast noise achieves faster throughput.

Some key methods used to achieve that are, **reducing allocations**, **avoiding palette resizing**, **delaying/packing block counting**, **precalculating data**,
**caching block state information** and more.

## How fast is it?

About 10-18% improvement to overall worldgen in overworld in 1.21.11 on latest versions.
Much higher improvement in nether, end

## Incompatible mods
Moonrise is incompatible, as It changes minecraft internals drastically
Noisium is incompatible, as Fast Noise is intended as a replacement for noisium.
Anti-Xray is incompatible for now, as it needs to put extra data in minecraft block storage, which breaks fastnoise

Zeta is a comprehensive load-bearing library for Modular gameplay mods. It is built as a retooling of the original Quark module system and serves as a successor to AutoRegLib.

Documentation is not available yet, as it is not fully finished. Other mods will be able to use it soon, keep an eye on this space.

There is no need to download Zeta unless some other mod requires it, as it does not contain any content on its own.

# ZeroCore

**ZeroCore is a mod intended for other mod authors**

It contains code to handle the basic mechanics of the game and Forge, including:

– handlers to process network messages on the correct thread

– new GUI system

– a base TileEntity implementation that simplifiy data syncronization between server and remote clients, updates and GUI handling

– helper classes and blockstate properties to handle connected textures

– standard configuration handler with built-in support for in-game configs changes

– standard ore generator and re-generation

– much more

It’s also the home of a revised multiblock API that support multiple client mods without performance penalities

# Zero Immunity MOD

**Zero Immunity** was born from a desire to make Minecraft combat a bit more realistic. This mod removes the immunity ticks (i-frames) from both players and mobs, making hordes significantly more dangerous and multi-shot attacks far more devastating.

**Use it at your own risk.**

## Important Notes
* **Attack Speed:** This mod **does not** modify the attack speed of weapons or entities.
* **Environment:** You may still experience immunity frames from certain environmental damage sources to prevent instant death from world hazards.

– **Ice Rod** – Found in Igloos, snowy villages, and Ancient City ice box chests.
– **Hookshot** – Sold by the Goron Merchant. (Try using your Hookshot on Epona!)

– **Mysterious Scrap** – A rare material mined from Kakariko Ore deep in the Nether (frequency similar to Ancient Debris). Also dropped by Piglin Brutes, found in Nether Fortress and Bastion treasure chests, and very rarely obtainable from fishing.

– **Ocarina of Time** – Rarely found in simple dungeon chests (monster spawner rooms), buried treasure, woodland mansions, and stronghold libraries. Also has a very rare chance to appear as fishing treasure.

– **Bottled Healing Fairy** – Right-click a red Healing Fairy with an empty Hylian Bottle to capture it. Can also be found in End City and Bastion treasure chests.

– **Sheet Music — Zelda’s Lullaby** – 0.1% drop chance from any mob slain by the player.
– **Sheet Music — Epona’s Song** – Found in Lon Lon Ranch, which generates in plains and savanna biomes.
– **Sheet Music — Song of Storms** – Found in Windmills, which generate in plains and swamp biomes.
– **Sheet Music — Sun’s Song** – Found inside Desert Pyramids.

Zelda Door Mechanics

## Features of the door

– No resource pack required
– Has sounds
– Has collision when closed
– Get open when getting close
– Will be placed facing north/south by default, you can rotate to 90°
– Possibility to lock door and to get a key
– Peebles animation on the ground when the door is closing
– Model for locked door
– Once a locked door is unlocked, the key from the player inventory get deleted
– Animation inspired from Zelda: Twilight Princess when a locked door is unlocked

**If you don’t want to read all this, just do /function door:help in-game and read the step-by-step documentation in-game!**

### How to place & remove a door

**To place a door (you need OP), follow those 2 easy steps carefully:**
– Go where you wanna place the door, and check for your position (X,Y,Z). Then, go in spectator mode and do /teleport [your coordinates, but **add** .5 after each number] (example: if your coordinates are x 12, y 64 and z -100, run /teleport 12.5 64.5 -99.5
– Run /function door:_/create
– **It’s done!**

– To remove a door, stand on it and run /function door:remove_current_door

### How to lock & unlock a door

**To lock a door:**
– Go where you wanna place the door, and check for your position (X,Y,Z). Then, go in spectator mode and do /teleport [your coordinates, but **add** .5 after each number] (example: if your coordinates are x 12, y 64 and z -100, run /teleport 12.5 64.5 -99.5 do the teleport
– Run /function door:lock_door whilst standing on the door

– To unlock it, get a key with /function door:give_key

### How to rotate a door

**To rotate a door:**
– Stand at the door position and check for the coordinates, then run /gamemode spectator and /teleport x.5 y.5 z.5 as for the other steps
– If you want to rotate a locked door, lock it before the next step (see above)
– Run /function door:rotate_door_90

**For in-game help and additional commands, run /function door:help**

**This datapack has a known issue:**

– Collisions don’t work for rotated locked door (currently, it’s better to only locks doors facing north/south, but you can create non-locked doors facing east/west if you want)
