# WHAT IS ZP3 ?
**Zombie Plague 3 (ZP3) is a complete ground-up rework and reimagining of [Zombie Plague 2](https://modrinth.com/mod/zombie-plague-2-hardcore-zombie-apocalypse), a long-running mod originally developed for Minecraft 1.7.10 that accumulated tons of mechanics and a small but dedicated community over the years.**
**ZP3 is not a port. It is a full rewrite built with modern Minecraft versions in mind, featuring redesigned systems, improved performance, and new mechanics while preserving the core idea of a hardcore zombie apocalypse survival experience.**

# Zombie Plague Mod 2

Zombie Onslaught
Description:
The Zombie Onslaught mod is a mod that adds multiple unique zombies into the game, all of these zombies have their own unique quirk to them.
There is a total of 8 different zombies at the moment, but I recommend suggesting your own ones to have a chance to get them in the mod

This is a Forge Only mod
(This mod is Directly inspired by the Zombie Invasion mod, go check their mod out)
The Zombies
Currently, there is 8 unique zombies, but you can suggest your own and I might add them if I like it
Crawlers
Crawlers are a extremally slow variant of zombie that can appear with a 10% chance after you kill a regular zombie/husk
Frosted
The Frosted is a type of zombie that only spawns in cold biomes, if a Frosted attacks you, it gives you the slowness effect
Zombie Bomber
The Zombie Bomber is a zombie type that has a 50% chance to explode after it attacks you, this explosion will kill it and deal damage to you and the surrounding area
Zombie Brute
The Zombie Brute is a rare type of zombie that can spawn, it has a lot of HP and can cause a lot of Knockback damage to the player
Oozer
The Oozer is a slow and sluggish zombie. This is a ranged zombie that shoots Ooze at the player. This ooze will cause the player some poison damage
Zombie Hunter
The Zombie Hunter is a type of zombie that spawns in forests. These zombies are able to cloak themselves and make themself invisible for a short period of time
Savage
The Savage is an extremally fast zombie with high speed. It can catch up to players extremally easily
Magician Zombie
The Magician Zombie is the rarest zombie type so far. It’s a ranged mob that can use it’s wand to give a range of negative effects, every bullet that hits you has a chance to give you multiple random negative effects. All arrows that shoot at it will be teleported away, and since it’s wearing a hat, it doesn’t get burned by the sun

Zombie Infection
When a final blow that’ll kill the player is dealt by a Zombie, it’ll prevent the damage and convert the player to a Zombie of that Type (Normal/Villager -> Normal, Husk -> Husk, Drowned -> Drowned)

This mod isn’t very practal i know that, but it wasn’t about the mod being effective or not, it was about a few things.
1. Learning, i’ve only been modding Minecraft for about 10 months and i’ve got a lot to learn, trying new things unlike my other past mods will help me in the future, this mod in particular help me learn more about modifying the Player and its Renderer as well.
2. Fun, Modding is fun. plus i’ve always wanted a reason to make rotten flesh a viable food source while it actually making sense to be.
3. never **my** intention but it can help with game immersiveness, which a lot of poeple like.
As a Zombie (Updated for newer Version 1.0.2)
* model is rendered as a Zombie, including the First Person Hand.
* burn in the day when your not wearing a helmet (unless your a Husk)
* convert when Underwater (Husk -> Normal -> Drowned)
* eating rotten flesh wont give the hunger Effect & it’ll be as good as a Cooked Steak (Raw & Cooked Foods as also reversed)
* killing a non-Infected Player will infect them
* will move very slow (slightly faster then a real zombie tho)
* Zombies will not attack infected players
* Attempting to eat a Golden Apple when weakess is appiled will have the same effect as on a Zombie Villager (Curing the Infection)
I think thats everything, but im not sure.
Zombie Horses From Abandoned Villages
**This mod/datapack makes Zombie Horses spawn in the animal pens or stables of Zombie Villages.**
While Skeleton Horses were made obtainable in 1.9, Zombie Horses werent so lucky. They have been an unused mob ever since they were added. By making them able to be found naturally in the world in a fitting environment that makes sence also gives a reason to search for abandoned villages that were previously also not very useful
**Additionally within these villages, Zombie Horses can spawn as Normal types, Babies or ridden by Zombie Villagers with enchanted iron gear.**

**They can also be ridden by the player and have been made to not dismount from them underwater to match the skeleton horse behaviour**
Zombie Horse Spawn

Requires the library mod Collective.
This mod is part of The Vanilla Experience modpack and Serilum’s Spawn Bundle mod.
Zombie Horse Spawn is a minimalistic mod which allows zombie horses to spawn with a zombie riding it. Whenever a zombie spawns, it has a chance to be spawned as a rider. You can configure it to only spawn on the surface and if it should burn in daylight.
You may also be interested in Giant Spawn or Skeleton Horse Spawn.
Configurable: ( how do I configure? )
chanceSurfaceZombieHasHorse (default = 0.05, min 0, max 1.0): The chance a zombie that has spawned on the surface is riding a horse.
shouldBurnZombieHorsesInDaylight (default = true): If enabled, burns zombie horses when daylight shines upon them.
onlySpawnZombieHorsesOnSurface (default = true): If enabled, a zombie horse with rider will only spawn on the surface.

Tries to support modded mobs, After running your modpack once, check out MobLists.toml -> enhanceableMobs to see a list of modded mobs that might work!
## Misc:
Use pisons or tnt to attract zombies to areas, usefull for distractions to help you get away. They always go for the louder noise.
Optional random wandering hordes on surface (default off): Mobs will gather up together and wander the terrain in large groups randomly
