Life Series – Zombie ApocyLife

**Zombie ApocyLife** is a custom Life Series gamemode where eliminated players respawn at night.

This datapack requires the Life Series mod by Mat0u5: https://modrinth.com/mod/life-series

# How It Works
At nightfall (time=13000), the datapack will attempt to respawn any eliminated players.

If there are no eliminated players online, or if the eliminated players have already been respawned, it will not attempt a respawn.

Their goal is to kill as much people as possible to get more Zombies. They are instructed to ignore previous alliances and not to harm other Zombies.

# Setup Instructions
1 – Make sure you have the Life Series mod installed and the gamerule doDaylightCycle is set to true.
You can pause the daylight cycle before playing, but do not pause it at 13000.
2 – Choose a location where you want your zombies to respawn and run:

4 – If you want to move the revive point, first remove the old one:

Note: Only one revive point should exist. If multiple exist, removerevivepoint will remove all of them, allowing you to start fresh.

# Manual Respawn
If you want to manually trigger a respawn, run:

This will revive all currently eliminated players that aren’t already Zombies.

# Respawn Details
– Zombies will spawn with their old inventories.
– Default health is 20 HP (10 hearts).
– There isn’t a built-in way to change this, but you can adjust it yourself using command blocks.

Zombie Survival

This is a simple datapack that replaces most overworld mobs with different zombie variants. Creepers, Skeletons, Strays, Spiders, Cave Spiders, Endermen, Guardians, Elder Guardians, Bogged, and Witches are removed and replaced by zombies.

This datapack also includes blood particles to make the gameplay a little more fun and brutal.

The zombies drop the loot that the mob they replace would normally drop, so the default progression is still mostly intact.

– Zombies spawn more frequently
– Zombies no longer drop rotten flesh
– Husks now spawn outside of the desert
– Most overworld hostile mobs are replaced with a new zombie variant
– Loot boxes and health kits spawn throughout the world, melee them to loot them
– Loot boxes drop gold, iron, emeralds, and arrows
– Health kits drop health potions

Zoglin Miniboss

# The Zoglin is usually just a novelty mob you see once for an advancement, or for an unusual farm, and leave it at that.

But as a miniboss, it can be a challenge with a powerful reward, that being the rotten tusk.

The Rotten Tusk gives potion effects for 3 minutes, those being:
– Strength 2
– Speed 2
– Absorption 4
– Hunger 2

The Zoglin can’t have a powerful reward without being buffed, so it has 100 health, some natural armor, extra damage and knockback, and increased size.

The Zoglin also drops rotten flesh, bones, and sometimes, a snout armor trim.

zLife Season 1

Start with 1 heart and 7–13 lives. On death: lose 1 life, gain 1 heart. On kill: gain 1 life. Name color shows lives: Red (1–3), Yellow (4–6), Lime (7–9), Dark Green (10+). Run out of lives = elimination.

zipline recipe fix

Zipline Crafting Fix for Version 1.2.1+1.21.8 (Fabric)

This data pack fixes a critical bug in the [Zipline](https://modrinth.com/mod/zipline) mod (version 1.2.1+1.21.8 for Fabric) that prevents the core Zipline item from being crafted.

## The Problem:
A syntax error in the mod’s original recipe file (data/zipline/recipes/zipline.json) caused the crafting recipe to be invalid. Specifically, the “key” object incorrectly used the full item component notation (e.g., {“item”: “minecraft:gold_ingot”}) which is not supported for simple ingredient definitions in the current version.

## The Solution:
This pack replaces the faulty recipe with a corrected one that uses the standard, simple ingredient format (e.g., “minecraft:gold_ingot”). The fixed recipe JSON is included below for verification.

## Important Note:
This is a temporary, community-made fix. I have submitted a Pull Request (PR) to the official mod developer. If the main mod has been updated to a version that includes this fix, this data pack will no longer be necessary and can be safely removed.

## Installation:
To apply the fix, place this data pack ZIP file into the datapacks folder of your specific Minecraft world save, whether in single-player or on a server. A reload or restart is required.
